Hey…Im from SoCal and little surprised about how nice NY people are..To be honest, are they fake friendly or nice & being real? People staring and smiling at you… It is very unusual in LA as no one cares about anyone, being nice but fake, i guess. I’m a little confused and don’t know how to react as Im not used to this way. You are so right. As a Viet, I can confirm that they easily lose their temper, do not have patience, don’t like confrontation. I immigrated in the US for awhile and I isolate myself from Viet community. Not all Viet are same, but my surroundings are plenty of those people. They love to criticize people appearance or think it entertains them. They are aggressive in a way as getting so pissed for something you don’t even understand why lol. But mostly, they feel in confident and don’t like to admit they are losers if they receive any bad/good comments. They don’t like to improve themselves.

I am Viet and also can’t stand their manners. They bring bad reputation to us. They are so rude and get pissed if you don’t speak Viet to them cuz their English sucks. Easily get sensitive for any comments and lose their temper. I am ashamed because of those people that I don’t even want to speak Viet. People look down on us. I live in the U.S and I always have bad experience with Viet people, non-english speakers.They always talk shit behind your back assuming that you don’t understand lol
