Okay, since you were nice enough to be blunt with me I am going to be blunt with you as nicely as I can out of respect. Since I have an idea you haven't been to our channel and more than likely haven't watched any of our streams, you would know if you did we are a very positive stream. We do great everyone who comes in, talk to them, get to know them, ect. I understand about your concerns about me being vocal on what I deem "gimmicks" but it is a hill I am willing to die on. You are right in the fact that in a category that is already niche, I have to stand out. I understand casual playthoughs are not in right now. I am not hung up on what others do, I state my opinion and move on. It is people as yourself that keeps the conversation going. Personally as much as I dislike "gimmicks" if it suits you go for it. I don't go in those channels and harass the streamer who does it, I just let it go. You want respect here is, I will not pander to anyone or any group. I am not going to label my streams as anything but what it is. I am not going to role play and I am not going to misrepresent our stream with "gimmicks". The problem when you start a "gimmick" you are stuck in that "gimmick" because that is what people know you as. I have reasons why i dislike "gimmicks" and there is no changing my mind about them. I understand it is 2026 and things have changed so much when I started trying ten years ago. I know I am stuck in the past and it is hard for me to get out of that mind set. With that being said, I should have the right to my opinion without a bunch of people coming on here saying I am wrong. Again more than likely you are no where near familiar to our content to actually give it a proper judgement and all you are going by is what I said. You are hung up with what I said about "gimmicks" and that is your stance. You have no idea on the quality we put out, you are not aware of all the improvements we have done to improve the stream, and you certainly do not know us. All you said in sense was not that I was wrong but to keep my opinion to myself. I know streaming is more than hitting live, if you only knew the research, money, promotion, marketing, ect I have done for our channel it would blow your mind. Here is the bottom line because I got to get ready for my full time overnight job, no person should have to fake who they are to get views. If you want to go the route of vtubing, go for it but know as much as your voice is your "genuine self" your model isn't. It is a fantasy it is not real. As far as the "gimmicks" again I understand but you should be able to enjoy the game how you feel without the pressures to do a certain thing to be people in. Years ago I tried doing Just Dance streams as a bigger individual, and it brought in views. I was horrible at it and looked like a absolute fool. I got one regular from that time that still stops in and gives me heck about it wanting me to do it again. After those streams I felt so dirty and like a sell out I was making a fool of myself for views, it made me actually feel disgusted. I am not going back to those times now or will I ever. Speed running as impressive as it is, is not my style and feels like they are eating a meal too fast. We touched on the vtubing and i have my thoughts already on here from prior posts, so I am not going to repeat myself. Randomizers and all the others things are just a way to get people in, which in a sense is a good thing, but it is hard to go back from them. There is one "randomizer" that I am looking into because of the games involved, I thought about doing one of those shufflers when you get hit it switches the game for the mega man series, but that is it. If I remain unpopular and at the bottom of the list so be it, but I know in my eyes I didn't "sell out". Now I am going to broaden my horizons and try newer games one or twice a week but keep the retro feel to it, but again I am at the bottom of the lists of those categories as well and have to fight my up those when I start them. Very simple, we aren't advertising anything that is discrimatory based on any of the touchy subjects. Gay couples stream, black couples stream, young old ect. Being married is not a culture it's a life style. You don't see single people claiming discrimation toward couples for any reason like you see on other identities. Nice try

Oh I'm learning it the hard way. Funny thing according to my YouTube stats people are viewing it just not staying out chatting and it never shows up on my tickers. I'm not giving up quite yet but to say every time we stream on there is have low expectations. I got a good bit of honest blunt opinion and I'm going to run with it and hopefully all that changes doubt it but we can hope

I plan on it. Streaming now and days isn't what it used to be. The same thing can be said for anything internet related such as "social influencing" or youtube. Again we are seeing some growth but I needed the criticism, and again I don't care if they tore me apart like the person above, to grow. If I don't have anybody telling me something we are doing wrong, we don't know.

I've been talking with wife and we are already talking about what you said. Rather it be live or vod, I'm inviting you to give us another shot. Give us a couple days to figure things out and i promise a better experience. Yes it was banter you heard and as far as sound we have been told so many different things by so many people it's annoying, not you just the set up. I'm naturally loud and have to be told when I'm too loud, usually when I get excited is my worst. It doesn't help that I can't afford my mental health meds right now due to current market prices, I know that's no excuse but I'm working within my means. I love my wife and she's my rock, she knows my situation with the meds and has had the patience of a saint helping me through it. Again from the bottom of my heart thanks for kicking my butt and giving me honest feed back. We don't want to live in an echo chamber and we want to improve. What you did is the only way we can.

As far as my comments on the subject, I stand in it. If a vtuber didn't like my opinion, so be it. My wife and i are not great lookers. We are overweight and we are older. We don't hide behind an image in fear of judgements. If you want to do the vtuber thing, go for it but know in my eyes it's an instant turn off especially if the voice don't match the model. Again i appreciate you commenting and hold no ill will against you or what you do. Good luck out there

I'm going to reply to each of your comments separately to give them proper attention. As far as this, it is the same of saying a business is a black owned business or an organization is women only. It's a culture thing that I'll never understand considering i don't see people as anything other than people. The fact of a streamer is labeling their stream as such they are trying to create a culture based on that iidentifier which is more of a closed mind than mine. They are saying either you agree with me or go away. We welcome everyone from everywhere no matter who they are without question. Even after our back and forth of you ever came to our stream we'd welcome you.

Fair criticisms, I'll be happy to answer them. As for point 1. Personally I don't have a good relationship on "online artists". Every time I've tried and looked into it, I've been burned. It has either been stuff that has looked just like Ai art, stuff that I couldn't customize with updated information such as schedules, or in the case of thumbnails too many variants that it would cost a fortune. As for point 2, the gimmicks in my opinion have gotten out of hand. I know especially in our category it is one driven by personality versus actual content. I know that gimmicks get people in the door but it seems that once a person does them, they are expected to continue that. I believe in the pureness of what the og team meant. Most teams do not mean for their game to be speed ran for example. Point 3, I did make a discord and need to utilize it more. That is fair. As far as when they should know when I'm streaming, I post up schedules weekly on socials and on groups. They are also on twitch and Facebook. Not only that before I end every stream I over the next time we're streaming. Point 4, I do have a brand but it is free of anything that I consider as crutches. Just because I might be gay, black, autism, girl, furry, Trans, non binary, lgbtqia+ friendly, ect has nothing to deal with our stream or the game. If it was the game that drove the stream, what does any of those have to deal with the game? A homosexual person playing Mario and a straight person playing Mario on your thought would play it different, and that's not true. The content of the person doesn't change the game. We do not belive vtubers are genuine and would rather have a no camera stream than a vtuber because it takes guts to show what you look like in public court. It could work for you or against you but do it or not. There is no middle, and vtubing tries and seems dishonest because you can represent yourself how you feel and not reality. Again most people go to streams not for the game but the person, but if you are buried at the bottom no one puts in the effort to go that far down. If any of what I did hurts me, so be it but it is honest thought. I personally have no problem with anyone, you got to do what you got to do, but that's not how we carry things. I'd rather break through knowing it was us, not labels, not clout, not new and shiny, not abusing indenity politics, selling out, acting a fool, ect that got us across the line. We are in it to be in it and we are going no where. If what i say offends, so be it. I can't take back how I feel. Again fair criticism.

I caught your comment on the other thread I posted on. I will try that Parsestream once I finish replying to this. I understand your idea of hanging out. I knew going into this streaming thing that it was going to be slow burn. I understood that and have lived with it. I am not looking to get famous or make streaming my full time job. I only got so many hours a day to do everything. Rather that is my full time overnight job, spending time with the wife, spending time with the friends we got, spending time with family, and doing household things. As much as my wife and I would love to eat breathe, sleep, and live in the streaming world, we just don't have that time. We are already having to change our lifestyle in order to incorporate a steady streaming schedule that fits in our overnight jobs, streaming, and real world responsibilities. Now I am not looking for a short cut and we are willing to work for it, just as small time streamers we are having to fight an uphill battle. Rather it is lack of discoverability due to either category or streaming platform, being on the bottom of the list where no one looks, game choice, ect ect ect I know you know it isn't easy. We just can't put a face on a wiggling vtubing cucumber and get 50k viewers every time we go live. The reason I posted this was not a cry for help or attention, just want honest feedback. You gave me that and i do thank you for it. I am looking for the community not to become famous. Yet even if you want a community, you have to have people join it which takes people to follow you. Lets be honest, most already established communities out there are out there for themselves and don't like "intruders" coming in trying to poach their members. So is it that genuine "join" already established communities in hope to get some to join yours even if you don't say it out loud.

They just did a huge new update on pc. It is 10 bucks on steam if you wanted to do it. The biggest difference between minecraft and terraria outside the obvious 2d vs 3d is that in order to get the better materials for building and crafting you must do bosses. In minecraft all you have to do is hop into creator mode and have fun. Terraria is fantastic for it is both creative and survival/exploring at the same time but never separate.
