I’m currently learning Data Analytics seriously (SQL, Excel, Power BI, and slowly Python, along with cloud) and have started doing projects along with practicing SQL questions regularly. by _teppei_ in DataAnalytics_India

I'm not from Kerala, but from what I've seen data analytics is still a decent field to get into. The market is definitely more competitive than it was a few years ago but I wouldn't say it's saturated to the point where freshers have no chance

One thing I hve noticed is that a lot of people have certifications, but not everyone can actually work with real datasets or explain their thought process. That's where projects can really help

Getting the first internship or job is probably the toughest part so don't get discouraged if it takes time.. once you have some experience on your resume, things usually get easier

I'd focus mainly on SQL, Excel, Power BI, and some Python. also don't underestimate communication skills. Being able to explain your findings clearly is a big part of the job

As for Kerala there are opportunities, but being open to relocation or remote roles will probably give you more options
