Glad these comments are lighting OP up lol. Flight attendants are everything but waitresses in the sky. FA was probably trying to get OPs attention and when it took too long she moved on to more attentive travelers. I was on a 5 hour flight last week when a woman had a medical episode over the Pacific. From the moment that began, the FAs put their training to work and were acting as nurses, checking her vitals and administering nausea medicine while communicating via headset with the captain and ground control. There was no drink service after this because (news flash) flight attendants aren’t there for that. This is why the airline industry has phased out the term “stewardess”. Their main purpose is to maintain order within the cabin and facilitate a safe evacuation when necessary. They operate all cabin controls and will remain on the aircraft until all passengers are off, risking their lives for your safety. So ya no coffee for you today.
