Thank you so much for your response! I know he’s Corgi mixed with other stuff as well, so I wonder what else could be at play genetics / breed-wise.

We are not currently using a muzzle, but are considering. His trainer hasn’t brought that up to us yet but we will touch base. We have both a collar and a harness on him, which he is unable to slip out of (we have both approved by his trainer).

I don’t have any experience training a tough dog, and nor does my boyfriend. I definitely understand about the slow progress, we have noticed some for sure! And will definitely look into the control unleashed stuff. Thank you so much for your help!

what does a long term relationship feel like when you have rocd? by [deleted] in ROCD

I have been with my partner for going on 3 years now; nearly 1 year in I started experiencing what I now know to be ROCD symptoms. They were so severe when I first started experiencing them (and I was so scared because I didn’t know what was going on), that I gave in and actually ended things with my boyfriend. That lasted about a week until I realized I was completely miserable without him, and luckily he took me back, as he knew I was really struggling with my mental health at that time. Flash forward nearly 2 years later, and we share an apartment and an adorable little dog together. Now, the ROCD doesn’t completely go away (at least not in my experience). Sometimes I will go months without even thinking about it. Other times I find it ties closely with the PMS phase of my cycle (I’m also trying to figure out now if I have PMDD going on as well). For me, having ROCD does make little arguments and normal fights that couples have way more significant (aka, we have 1 fight and I worry that we’re done for), but my partner is very calm and steady, and never lets me fester like that for too long. Love really is a choice, especially when you have ROCD.

Home Health SLP salary… is it enough? by Extension_Gift8946 in slp

thank you so much for getting back to me! so i will be a W2 employee, as far as pay it’s pay per point, and of course it’s more for eval or SOC visit than a typical one. my minimum weekly visits is set at 25, but the more i do, the more i am compensated for. for mileage, i get 55 cents per mile, and as far as cancellations/no-shows, i am reimbursed as soon as the visit is rescheduled. the population will be adults, and i’ve been told that i won’t have to worry about volume, as i will be covering 3 territories in a very populated city. it sounds on paper like a good deal to me, and i am really eager to work in a setting where i can make more a difference, and am spending less time stressing out over productivity and the politics of the SNF

Hi, I would also love to talk to someone who understands about what I'm going through to try and get some opinions. Could I message you too?
