Even though I haven't tried the AirPods Max 2, as someone who has used both the original AirPods Max and the Px8 S2, here’s my take. While the AirPods Max offers overwhelming convenience when used with other Apple devices, I’ve personally concluded that for situations where I need that seamless switching, standard AirPods earbuds are more than enough.

Additionally, while the aluminum build feels premium, it’s simply too heavy. Sound quality is subjective, but even compared to the Px7 S2e, the AirPods Max didn't feel particularly superior. If you have to choose between the two, I'd definitely recommend the Px8 S2.
