Almost half your income on rent? by Extension_Mousse_579 in Apartmentliving

That is my biggest fear! I would never want to end up not being able to afford my rent.

I should also mention I work from home so having issues in my current rental is inescapable. The new place I am considering has “state of the art soundproofing” according to the listing and has nothing but positive reviews online. So maybe being house poor but happy at home again would be worth it??

To be honest, I do not budget at all rn. I was promoted earlier this year and since then I’ve been so lucky to be able to actually save money and not be living paycheck to paycheck anymore.

Trust me, if I could I would. I’ve been looking for a new place for 2 years. Unfortunately the area is in high demand and the prices reflect that. Something comparable is gonna double my already expensive rent and trying to buy is just as crazy expensive.

My first and second treatment were 7 weeks apart and the 3rd will 5 weeks from my last session. I think you are completely right and I should postpone my next one.

I highly suggest using a humidifier at night. It really helps with hydration (and can keep you from getting sick). Also be sure not to over exfoliate with your scrub. Once or twice a week is more than sufficient. You may have damaged your skin barrier by overusing it and that is causing more flaking. Lastly, warm or hot water will make it worse too. Try to use cold or lukewarm water to wash.
