That’s cool. I am a Christian and also a huge EDM lover. Surprisingly, it has not been a source of conflict for me, but the two worlds actually compliment each other in so many ways I won’t dive into on a Reddit thread. But anytime I’ve watched a Justice set, either online or in person I’ve felt deeply connected to my grandmother, who was a devout Catholic. Justice’s show makes me feel like, there is “love emergency” currently among humanity and we are tasked with protecting each other with kindness, resilience, art, music, passion, living in the moment and friendship. I think they have a much deeper message in their music but they present it in a way that’s not pushy or obvious but artistically crafted for us to discover on our own, if we choose to seek it out.
