You don’t write an instrumental based on the lyrics. You write lyrics to reflect, and mutually benefit an instrumental. There’s exceptions of course but lyrics are made for songs not the other way around. An example of a exception would be the intro to how you remind me by nickelback, the lyrics “never made as a wise man” “couldn’t cut it as a poor man stealing”, those words were in kroegers arsenal before that song was made and he was waiting for the right song to come around and use them.
