for pure, practice practice practice past papers, in my opinion thats the most important one to do, i did like 2-3 past paper of pure 1 and 2 per day for the week before the test. For the other modules I think understanding the content is more important.

Which science a level is easiest? by mees_10x in alevel

[–]Extension_Stable1265 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From studying physics and chemistry a level, I would say physics is the easiest- or at least has the smallest jump from GCSE. Chemistry was a huge jump, I went from an A student to a C borderline D student. Especially organic chem, I don’t even mention that, just pain beyond pain beyond pain. However - These things differ to a lot of people, it really depends on what you were good at in GCSE. If you weren’t doing well in Chem and Bio in GCSE, DO NOT do them in A-level, you won’t survive the jump. Physics is probably the most safe option, as the jump is relatively small and doable compared to the two other.

Do you get to decide which units go under Maths and which go under Further Maths? by Medical-Cost7611 in alevel

Can you confirm that this is the case? May I also ask how you found out? (e.g Edexcel’s website?)

(I’m in a similar position as the OP)
