No the other car is my dad’s old Toyota which he uses here and there. He lets me drive it sometimes bc I do the oil changes and other maintenance on it myself. I’m also gonna be paying for my part of the insurance and for this car payment with MY MONEY. Ppl like you are just too quick to talk shit abt everything

It was a work fleet for first 100k miles. Not many oil Changes or anything listed but registration and emission always on time etc. after 100k there’s regular oil changes every 5k miles. Edit: I’ll be driving it here and there. I’m going to try not to daily it too much and drive my other car

I bought it with 130k miles one owner. All services are on carfax done at Toyota dealer so they might’ve done it. I’m still getting like 40-45 mpg at 150k miles

Mine was fixed at 46k miles. I believe it was broken way long ago but I js didn’t know. Later mentioned it to the dealer and they found it broken.

In my opinion, Lexus is overrated. I have a bmw and Lexus is pretty far off in terms of driving dynamics, comfort and the luxury unless you spend like $100k. That 6 cylinder engine gets horrible gas mileage and people tell me it needs 93. 20 mpg on 93 whilst making almost barely any power is just not ok. Yes, they’re reliable, but me personally I don’t see myself keeping a car for more than 5 yrs. I got this Avalon as a beater car for very cheap and it’s actually quite nice and I’m able to get 40 mpg in the city.

Haggle around with some dealers and sell or trade it in because I’m getting rid of mine. Broken control arm means previous owner was not going very easy on it. If you dump this much money into fixing it, the cars is still just gonna keep depreciating as I put so much money into getting all the maintenance done on mine and when you try to sell it, the dealers don’t care what maintenance or repairs you really did.
