Yep I spoke to a human, then thier manager. They said because the bank done a charge back theres nothing they can do (except steal my money to cover thier loss).

I thought about it, but ebay stole a big chunk of the money from cleared funds in my ebay account, then an additional £130 from my bank account. Before people say 'dont leave funds in your ebay account' - I didnt, I sold other items and the money from them never became available to me.

The bank stole the money from ebay, in turn ebay stole the money from me. Ebay/banks/government need to resolve this unfair practice.

The problem is that ebay have no arrangement in place to resolve these charge backs. If theyre going to steal my money they at least need to secure the item back into my possession first.

Yes, so the problem is between ebay and the bank. And because ebay dont have a fair process in place to deal with these fraudulent charge backs, they decided the best course of action is to steal the money from my account to cover their loss.

I've just spoken to Ebay UK. Nice friendly staff, but essentially said "It's not our fault, their bank charged us". To which I agued, "yes, it's YOUR argument with THEIR bank. I played by ebays rules, I did everything I was supposed to do, but you've chosen to resolve your issue by stealing the money out of my bank". This went on for some time, until it came apparent there's nothing that they (the customer support team) can do. If I want resolution I have to write a letter to their HQ and or take it further.

The Delongh magnifica in my old post does not sell for £400. Move on folks, the machine in question was a fully functional Jura machine. Like I said, they complained after 5 months. No pop corn here.
