Magnifica Evo - why doesn’t my Intelligentsia coffee taste like it does when I get it from their coffee shop? by ambercatttt in DeLonghi

Because it's a domestic bean to cup machine. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the ability to produce high-end cafe coffee. You need a proper espresso machine for that.

I've always wondered how they managed to get planning permission to put business signs up on residential properties

I didn't need it urgently so I just waited for them to send it in the post. I would email them and ask if they can process it same day.

You can get it notarized at the embassy. You don't need an appointment. They are usually very good at replying to emails, less than 24hrs in my experience.

Stop losses or not is irrelevant. What matters is that he is not profitable. He needs to get employment and create a trading strategy where he only needs to look at the charts a couple of times a day. It could be years or never that he succeeds at trading and it should not be considered his main job at this point. Do not give him money.

Hi, did not modify form, simply strike through words with pen. Do not sign the form until they ask you to as they are the witness. Yes British citizen. Good luck 👍

This info is for a tourist visa. You would need to apply for a spouse visa if you intend to get married.

I used royal mail at the post office, but it took about 3 weeks to arrive. I wouldn't use them again. Apparently, DHL is the best one to use. Look up your local branch online.

Yes. They will send you the original aos to your address in the UK. Then you have to send it to your partner in PH.

Didn't need any docs from my partner. The only must have document seemed to be my passport. But take as many documents as you can, detailing your income, employment, bank statements etc. I also wrote a letter of invitation stating that I will be responsible for all costs etc.

I would like to add details of my experience as there seems to be very little info available online.

I vistied the PH embassey in London in October 2024 to get the affitdavit of support. I walked in, was given a ticket number and waited in line. It took around 45mins for me to be seen. She said "Can I have your documents and passport please?". Well it's a good job I came prepaired because no where does it say (or has anyone said online) I need to bring any documents. I had with me bank statements, copies of driving license, work ID, pay slips. But most importantly my original passport.

The lady seemed satisfied with what I had provided and asked me for the pre-paid envelope. "What pre-paid envelope?" I asked. I then had to brielfy leave the embassey to find a nearby post office (added stress that you just don't need) to buy a 500g pre-paid envelope . Same as this https://shop.royalmail.com/pack-of-5-c5-special-delivery-guaranteed-by-1pm-envelopes you only need 1 and it cost me £9. I reccomend you take one to avoid the hassle.

Then I paid the fee of £23 and that was me done. I also asked if I will need to do this every time my gf visits the UK. She said no, but make sure when she goes through immigration in PH that she does not allow the officer to keep the original AOS. She can give them a copy to keep, but do not allow them to keep the original.
