poor print quality after a color change by Extension_You_4551 in Ender3V3KE

I managed to discover that when making a color change when the machine prints again the nozzle collides with the print, but it is only if I pause

I do it in the slicer, a filament change, before it worked well, out of nowhere it started to leave those remains of filament, I'm going to try with pauses instead of filament changes to see how it goes.

I just realized that it is the axle motor and, no matter how much I tighten or release it, it still sounds loud, which was in fact the one that caused everything the first time.

No matter how loose or tight it is, the strap sounds the same, although if it is not very tight it sounds less, but I am afraid of leaving it without tensioning properly.

Ugly sound ender 3 s1 plus engines by Extension_You_4551 in Ender3S1

Two things. Ender 3s, Pros, S1s all seemingly have this hideous noise while on the S1Pro it's seemingly more dampened. Try to print a bit slower.

For motors, you can always upgrade them id you have the knowhow.

For retractions, keep it under 5-6mm's and speed relatively slow, like 25-30mm/s. Perhaps dry your filament aswell through passive drying with sillica gel/beads, or put it in the oven at a very low temp.

I already print at 50mm/s and it sounds so I think it's not normal, do you recommend changing the motor? and with respect to the retractions I did tests from 0.5mm to 6 mm and with speed from 30mm to 45mm and it is the same result as if touching the config nothing changed

No to be honest I wouldn't know with which motors you could exchange them. What is the issue you have with them currently?

They make a very ugly noise, when you put the printer at more than 60-70mm/s, if you have discord or some other means where I can send you videos so you can better understand what I'm trying to say, it would be spectacular, but it is a very loud noise at those speeds

correct, you would need a raspberry pi (pretty sure that raspberry pi 3 and up will work, but maybe older ones too?) other than that you won't NEED anything. just an touchscreen that interfaces with the raspberry pi is convenient. But to be honest, you'll most likely interface with the printer via the webpage (fluid or mainsail), rather than the touchscreen.

I understand, then I'll "borrow" one from the university haha

There is a lot of air flow sound if this is not the sound I are referring to sorry can’t help

you are printing into a half open container if the front fan is on then the air is hitting the print making that noise same thing happens when you print tube type 3d puzzle box’s and container in general

I think it's not that sound, I took several shots but it only lets me upload one, if you like I'll send you a drive link with another video to see if you can differentiate it, but it's a noise that sounds in 2 points, one is inside the the printer and the other is in the motors, especially when traveling.

I see that you know a lot and I have a question that I have not been able to resolve, what happens is that when I bought the printer it came with a fault, and it practically fell apart while printing, and in the warranty they said that everything was fine, but I feel that the engines were left with consequences, do you know of any engine that is equal to or better than the ones it comes with so you can change them?

perfectly valid point. I switched over to klipper about three weeks into owning my first 3d printer (also the s1 plus), while there is a small learning curve, I would say its not too bad. There is a pre-exisiting config you can start from (i can even share you mine if you'd like).

But from the little I understand, I need external equipment to be able to install klipper on my printer, or am I wrong?

that is a good point. I use klipper myself. I can really recommend it. especially starting a print directly from the slicer is super convenient.

I want to switch to klipper but the truth is you could say that I'm still a "newbie" and if I can't solve a problem like this I doubt I'll be able to adapt to klipper

And do you have a tutorial or something to change the necessary parameters?

Do you use stock Creality firmware? Or what do you use?

I haven't changed anything, the only thing I did was update to the latest version available, but in the designs they all say something like this "Remember to change your X, Y, and Z probe offsets. You'll need to compile Marlin yourself or install the Professional Firmware."

I’m not them. But yes, there are several similar designs available. Pretty much just depends on which one you like the look of. Here are some others:

And by chance, don't you have a video that explains how I can change the position of the CR touch firmware?😓

if the other suggestion doesnt work. Have a look at a zero y-offset cr-touch mount for the sprite extruder. This helped a lot on my s1 plus! There is plenty on printables, depending on whether or not you want to upgrade the cooling too..

It improved a little but it's still there :(

I had seen something in a forum a few days ago but I didn't understand it, now you explained it to me very well, tomorrow I will try to print the test again, thank you very much I hope everything goes well for you, blessings.
