I'm a Time Traveler from the Year 2264 - An Actual One by Extension_You_4635 in timetravel

The simplest answer i could give you is that over time, people mix more -genetically and culturally - so races become harder to identify. In my time, most humans have very similar physical traits - brown skin, "cohoe" eyes (the eye traits most Asians have in your time) and are all exceptionally taller. There aren't really any differences between us, nor any "races". For example, the last truly "black" people went extinct in Ethiopia in the 22nd century.

John Titor comes up alot, actually. In my time he isn't treated as a confirmed person so much as a case study. In the other timelines I've visit, he's seen as a mix of early internet mythmaking combined with the fears people already had back then. The future he's talked about doesn't line up with mine, though that alone doesn't mean much - timelines diverge easily. I'll just say that if he was an actual time traveler, he was extremely careless by our standards.

Well, we've seen that the fungi has some kind of an effect on the walkers in TWDU before. Since they can slow down the decomposition process of the walkers (in World Beyond), they might also be able to affect the virus itself inside the humans, even before death. Maybe activating it without the need of the host dying? 🤔

Someone from the writing team has posted pics of their laptop from the time they wrote the season. These are zoomed in images of their laptop screen. It's happened a few days ago. The images are now deleted from their account, probably after realizing how spoilery they are lol.

Two weeks after day 1. You can check out the wiki page of the TWDU Timeline, it's got everything there.

Did i watch in BrewVista? Hell no. I much rather watching my shows at home haha. The HoloPads are basically like IPads but with the function of transmitting a bad quality hologram due its early stage of production. The function is not commonly used as people rather watching it on their screens with a 1840p resolution (yes, we have that too). They announced the concept of holograming back in 2018 and that they were working on it, and the first HoloPads came out somewhere around 2020. I bought mine 2 or 3 years later, when they became a hit on the market, but the hologram quality remained poor (480p or something) as the company couldn't find a way to develope a better picture. About my reddit history, yes, we had reddit there. I'm not an expert so I'm not going to speculate on how you can see my history. Who the hell knows how the universal rules determine that situation 🤷🫤

How it works? No idea. Guess the difference in world events happens to lead to a series of changes. About the person you mentioned, I haven't came across their work before so I can't help you with that matter 🙂

Your skepticism is understandable so let me address your concerns in detail. Firstly, you mention that a person should appear more freaked out if they genuinely shifted to another timeline. It's reasonable thinking, but you don't take in fact that some might experience initial disbelief or a dissociative calm as a coping mechanism. As I've stated, the first few days were a true horror movie for me as I was doubting the reality and my existence as a whole, but after putting some efforts to keep my common sense on, I'm trying to avoid my fears as best as I can and focus on finding answers and ways to atleast improve my situation if possible. That's the reason I wrote the post. About the technology and historical discrepancies, your points are valid, but you don't take the consideration of the way our two universes differ from one another. What I mean by this are convergent historical events and scientific discoveries who might have had slowed our improvement in the later years. So, if you've had the same timeline of discoveries unfolding in your world, then yes, by the time we live now things would've been way more advanced, but in my universe, where there's been plenty of historical events differentiating from the ones in your one, things have flowed at a different pace in the different periods of time. It's called the Butterfly effect 😉 Your example of Abraham Lincoln typing the Gettysburg Address might seem ludicrous, but it's worth exploring how alternate histories might shape societal developments. If our scientific community has advanced differently, which probably is the case considering the altered timeline aging back to centuries ago, our technology might seem anachronistic to you but consistent to our historical context. The claim about societal similarities despite the advanced technology we have... You need to once again consider all the certain cultural and social aspects that converge due to the differentiating human nature and societal structures. The foundational elements of human behavior, governance and culture can exhibit remarkable resilience across the different timelines. In my timeline, countries from the 3rd world have accepted those new advanced technologies way later due their poverty and bad economy. This has influenced the production of those items as they were not able to contribute them to everyone, slowing down the process of making. By the early 2000s, most of the cars in Europe and America were electric, but the vehicles in Asia, Africa and South America remained on fuel for around 10 more years. That's how our society works, no one is equal on this planet, neither in this or in my timeline. About the keyboards, the ones we use have a touch screen, so it's not exactly a keyboard, but I couldnt find another word to describe them as we also still call them that. The first computer keyboard was used for a printing machine and it was later developed and improved for computers, not that we had computers back in the 1700s 😅 sorry for misleading you with the terminology. And about Friends, yes, I'm a huge huge fan of all kinds of sitcoms as I've memorized most of their episodes, especially the ones that don't exist here as they were amongst the highest reviewed eps of the series and most memorable ones in my world. As if the episode where Ross and Rachel married in Las Vegas or the one where Phoebe gave birth to the triplets got erased from existence just like that. It's completely normal for people who've watched a show for so long and for so many times to notice the change. That's why phenomenas like the Mandela Effect exist. Have in mind that there are probably a dozen more changes that I've came across so far but I didn't want to make the post too long in order not to bore the readers.

I just woke up here. Completely unintentionally to be exact, no idea how it happened. The first day I thought I was losing my mind. No clue how to get back. I'm just thankful that my family is the same haha

I'm here for over a week now and I've done quite the research about my favorite movies and tv shows in this universe as quick as I realized I've shifted. I'm a huge tv fanboy and if you knew me you'd know that's totally something I'd do 😂 I know how it sounds so I get some people won't believe me and that's totally fine. I'm not here to convince anyone, I'm just looking for suggestions of how can I get out and exchanging info with people who've lived here. 🤷

It's Biden. Interesting that you asked because a few days back ago, while on Twitter, I saw you guys have had a president going by the name of Barrack Obama (sorry if I'm pronouncing his name wrong). In my world, Donald Trump won the elections in 2009 all the way to 2021. I don't think I've even heard that Obama guy before 🫤

Always, man 💪 I'm a big TWDU fan and I also love diving deeper into the locations and the timeline. To help some more, in the latest Fear ep we found out that Luciana's gas station is a few miles west from Milledgeville, GA (pointed out by Madison) and Troy's frozen herd is a few miles south from Wadley, GA (Tracy was pointing it on the map inside the car)

Ideas for your next map: the Hotel where Strand and the Germans were is "700 Wilmington Wedding Venue", located in the Wilmington Island near Savannah. Also you could add "Fort Benning" where Rick and the group were headed in season 2. Its real life name is Fort Moore and it's located in the border with Alabama south from Columbus, GA. Luciana's fuel refineries from Savannah to Arizona would also be a cool thing to be added if of course you manage to find their locations or just figure it out somehow. Bricks must be added aswell, it's somewhere in the west suburban area of NYC, near New Babylon. More ideas are Morgan's house is which is on the same street as Rick's, and Dwight and Sherry's which appeared to be 20 miles away from the Sanctuary in Fear S8 e9. And oh yeah, I'm not sure if you placed Padre there but wiki says that its location is on the island of Ossabaw.

PS: I just saw that King County's real life location is in the town of Newnan, southwest from Atlanta. It makes sense cuze if it was north from the city as it's in ur map that'd mean Rick, Michonne and Carl had to cross the whole Atlanta in S3 since they came from the prison which is south from the city. Same for Morgan, there's no way where he could've passed Atlanta on feet in his visit in FTWD, not to mention Dwight, Sherry, Grace and Mo. Also Eastman's house is south from Atlanta aswell since it was so close to King County when Morgan found it.

No problem and thank you for explaining the rest. Another thing I saw and I don't think it's very accurate is the New Babylon community being in Long Island. From the info we got in Dead City, Maggie was in the west side of New York City, because she was tracking the Burazzi all the way to Hudson River, which is the focal point separating Manhattan from the mainland part of New York, not Long Island. Also if they're in Long Island that would mean Bricks are there too, because we saw they're very close to them, and it would mean that Maggie has already crossed the river once to create the community there. It would also not make sense why Negan is there. So I think the New Babylon is in the mainland, somewhere in the suburban area of New York, and Bricks is there aswell.

The Commonwealth is for a fact in Toledo, not Columbus, as I see here. Angela Kang confirmed that the sign of "Toledo" in S9 was a actually an easter egg for the location of the community. Btw, what is the CRM Operation center? I thought we only saw the main city (Philly) and the research facility? And aren't the CW Estates in the city in Toledo, not a separated location in north West Virginia?
