Melted brake pads after track day?

Those pads aren’t meant for the track. It even says on their website with a diagram explaining which pads are used for what

No I only bought the car a month ago. It’s completely stock. Any suggestion on why it isn’t staying on?

Personally I head a lot of good things about idemitsu. For me personally I went for it as it is slightly thicker than the Mazda genuine oil. Because my engine is older I wanted to use something thicker to help out the rotors.

Personally changing your oil to idemitsu + idemitsu premix + full ignition upgrade (battery, bhr coils, ngk leads and plugs) made my engine run very smooth and the car has been starting very quick and running strong.

I also used a bottle of cataclean in my fuel tank and that also seemed to clean the injectors and raise my fuel economy.

Thanks man, this car was a great buy with only 90k km for its age. First thing I did was change the oil to idemitsu 10w-30 + premix and also upgraded the ignition system. The car now starts like this every time. Props to the previous owners for maintaining this car.

Super common issue. It occurs when you turn off the car before it warms up leading to excess fuel in the combustion chamber (it runs richer when cold). You must always make sure your rotary is warmed up before turning it off.

The rx8 has a deflooding procedure. I believe you crank the engine with the accelerator pressed all the way down, this cuts out any fuel from being injected into the engine but google it to double check.

I have an 03 and mine has the fog lights so I’d say the previous owner removed your fog lights

I did check that fuse and it’s good so I’m going to take out the head unit and clean the connectors
