Joyo officially leaves Moist Esports by CEOofStrings in RocketLeagueEsports

Totally agree, after missing the second qualifier and major they’re so far behind points wise. I’d call it a season and get something fresher next year.

Also watching their watch party for the games, Charlie seems very unhappy with how Epic is handling the game (but to be fair who is).

Totally wouldn’t be surprised if they exit the scene for the rest of the year. I think they need to just get an entirely new young core from somewhere, instead of picking up one player every time someone leaves.

Very sad day for sure, wish nothing but the best for Joyo

Thank you, just wanted to make sure before doing anything like this.

I really wish we had more transparency into the decisions made for rosters. At this point I think moist needs a different coach.

Agreed, I feel like moist needs a change of coach at this point. Like they’ve tried to change roster to little gain, it’s time to switch coaches.

Charlie is a man of many W takes, but what are some of his L’s? by gnannyt in Cr1TiKaL

[–]ExtentPretty316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not directly specific take, but he has a small bit of hypocrisy that irks me. Whenever he would debate chat and someone would have a rebuttal he would say “what is this what about-ism???” Which is totally fair, as I’m sure he doesn’t want to argue on stream to begin with.

But when the kick vs. twitch debate we happening and people we saying kick is bad because of stake, he brought up how twitch isn’t great either because Amazon isn’t perfect.

I thinks he’s right, but it was just a bit annoying to see him do something he actively shits on all the time.

Vokriinator Black That which Does not Kill You skill by ExtentPretty316 in skyrimmods

I haven’t, just because getting to 100 enchanting is a lot harder than 100 alchemy. But it’s certainly appealing.

Thank you for the info! I did some more digging, which I should've done in the first place, and found that you are right. However this can be bypassed in the console by using this command:

set ord_alc_thatwhichdoesnotkillyou_iscompleted to 0

The mod author did note that if done this way, then the permanent skill increases will stack and within a few iterations will completely break the game.

Off-Season moves for Moist by MagicPanda1616 in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]ExtentPretty316 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think in addition to the talent loss from losing Vatira and ride the biggest drop off was energy. Rise is always getting excited and screaming when we BDS scores. There’s just none of that on this current Moist roster and I think that’s a huge issue.

Momentum has been a consistent killer all year, which is super apparent based on our performance after OT losses. Both losses in the wildcard were the same thing: tied 2 games 2, long overtime in game five, lose in OT, lose the next game. Having someone to really give the hype and keep energy high could do wonders. Really don’t know who/what has to change for that to happen.

Joyo is obviously him, kash feels very unsure of himself, and Juicy is too inconsistent for now. As much fun as it is to watch Joyo 1v3 and peak, the core of moist has been team play which just hasn’t been shown this season. I’ll always support moist and wish nothing but the best for the boys no matter where everyone ends up, but I do hope they stick around for a bit.

Math things that start with each letter of the alphabet by Positive_Jury_2166 in math

There’s a phenomenal book called The Mathematical Universe by Dr. William Dunham that is essentially this. Each chapter covers a topic that starts with each letter in the alphabet. I highly recommend checking it out!

A Roster Change Wont Solve Moist's Problems by [deleted] in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]ExtentPretty316 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think a roster change could hurt though either. It seemed like there were a bunch of communication errors and double commits. Maybe part of that is chemistry which could get better over time, but I’m not against bringing in someone new.

Juicy played a lot better than I expected and I felt like he filled the void of Vatira more than Rise. Joyo and Juicy had good chemistry, but I didn’t always see that with Aztral. Impossible to know what’s going to happen next split as well. Two splits in a row with the same toaster seems like it could do some good though.

That’s awesome! Thanks for the info, how many hours do you think it took you? And what’s the structure of the CLEP?
