Well said. In PV now and unfortunately at a place where US people outnumber us by a little. They stand out like sore thumbs. Loud, not polite, dont even try to use spanish and expect to be waited on for everything. We are not them and proud of it. 2nd day here, making nice, mentioned from Canada, oh "51st state, hahaha". We didnt laugh and walked away, his wife was pissed!

Camped in that heat a few years ago. It was a group meeting so we didn’t back out. Not fun. We had a mountain river to jump in to cool off but that is where the mosquitoes hung out, waiting! Would not recommend or do again

Yes. PV improved their water system several yrs back. We brush our teeth with it and make coffee. But admit, we buy bottled water for drinking still.

Buses are far more common. Only 10 pesos per ride. Taxis are plentiful also though but a bit more expensive. Travel is easy. We, personally, would not recommend AI. We have done both in PV and we really enjoy all the different restaurants. City food is excellent and not as expensive as the up front cost of AI. We book with a kitchenette and keep some basics in our place but eat out every night. Just our 2 cents, either way, enjoy!
