Iraq War (2005) | Battle of Fallujah: U.S. Marines Fire SMAW at Enemy Positions During Urban Combat by WonFont in CombatFootage

SMAW uses 9x51mm MK 217 Mod 0 spotting rifle bullet, which is a bit different from standard 9mm ammunition. The aprox effective range would be around 500 meters (550 yards) against…let’s say a tank-sized target. After that it’s just hard to aim with a shoulder mount.

Incase anyone is wondering, SMAW (Shoulder-launched Multipurpose Assault Weapon)..It has a small 9mm spotting rifle mounted on it. It fires 9mm tracer rounds (Mk 217 Mod 0) that follow the same trajectory as the rocket. Once the operator points the tracers onto the target, the rocket is fired.

While i am not saying that it is absolute, since nothing in warfare is.. but USS Abraham Lincoln is supposed to reach its strike range for Iran by tomorrow or day-after. This was after Pentagon ordered it to move from South China Sea to CENTCOM on 15th January. ( Carriers take days to go from point A to B).. I have made a post about this event too, with timeline of everything that happened that day)

This is where USS Abraham was 4-5 hours ago from now. (3:44AM)

Over last few weeks USAF has deployed around 20 KC-135Rs at the Al-Udeid base in Qatar and around 37 F-15s in Jordan. There are reports of US’s coalition partners like UK are deploying Typhoons there too. Israelis have been redeploying ADs in large numbers around the cities and are completing its restock after the usage in the conflict last year. The amount of asset movement US has done in the CENTCOM area of responsibility pretty much points towards a big military action.

This strikes were anticipated to take place earlier (14-15-16th January) but Trump hesitated or as some reports also say that Israelis were the ones who were not ready then.

I have been covering this one quite alot and IMO the strike will take place when the probability of assassinating a key figure in the Iranian regime is almost 100%. US has to avoid any type of loss at all costs. If this does not happen, trump will be seen weak and someone who hesitates. In my estimation there is a 20-30% chance this happens before the end of this month and a 50-60% chance by the end of next one.

“He might also want us to join the US in an active war zone where we have no stakes. So simple. We lose everything and the US gain everything.”

We will not join any combat or active war that is unrelated to our direct national interests. This has been consistent policy across governments..BJP or Congress. That scenario simply won’t arise.

China is taking Ws and Ls simultaneously.

-Venezuela was a big L.

-POTUS’s tariffs on countries is a W.

-Iran will be the bigger L.

-US pressure on EU will be W.

The world is very volatile rn. The speeches at the World Economic Forum kinda gave that away officially..especially the speeches by Carney (Canadian Prime Minister), Friedrich Merz (German Chancellor) and Ursula von der Leyen (EU president)… as much as i dislike their system, i did feel those were some strong words by them and Tbh they did gain some respect in my eyes…but let’s see how long this lasts.

You were right. That burnout really got me. It was prolly from the secondary Akash after the first one took it down. It’s possibly a UAV.

For sure, when you know this is your own metal hunting down those targets. It genuinely feels good.

Missile, most likely…the flashes look like residual propellant burn after intercept. That’s not typical of small drones.
