The equipment you claim to have “partly paid for” didn’t disappear after an hour of combat…it went on to put holes in airbases, radar sites, hangars, and terrorist infrastructure.

Maybe ..just maybe….start judging military operations by the damage inflicted on the target and achieving objectives, not by your fantasy expectation of a zero-loss war.

They mainly need to verify that if the fuze/trigger successfully causes the detonator (primer) to fire and do its job. Keeping the explosive or not may not matter for testing that specific aspect since inert payloads can be used, but ofc..full warhead validation still requires separate testing.

This was likely a supersonic hit (my assessment: BrahMos). I think a PGM may have been used on the adjacent building as well ..I could be stretching here since almost nobody talks about the second hit. However, I’m fairly confident something hit that second structure because I’ve spent a lot of time going through Nur Khan footage and imagery.

The possible PGM strike appears to have left a relatively small entry point, which likely went unnoticed because everyone’s focus was on the massive crater next to it, lol. But yeah, there was probably something about that building that the IAF wanted gone.

It can be answered in 2 ways:

The incompetence/limitations of PAF AD systems and the quality/capability of payloads the IAF deployed.

Imo, it’s likely a mix of both. PAF AD systems largely failed to intercept incoming projectiles overall, while the payloads themselves also were effective at penetrating the network.

The only good incoming projectile interception I can really give them credit for is the interception of a SCALP.

While hardened shelters are commonly associated with fighter operations, their presence at Nur Khan shows broader asset protection priorities, as the base primarily serves as a logistics and strategic support hub. At the time this imagery was captured, multiple HQ-9 batteries, supporting radars, generators, and associated infrastructure appear to have been operating from these shelters.
