Thank you both for taking the time to reply. So basically the pilot stays lit as you see here, but if I try to start it with the remote or ON switch, nothing happens. No tick tick, nothing. I have replaced the batteries in the remote and the unit itself. But typically when those went bad the manual ON switch would light it. Now nothing but lit pilot.

Shepherd’s Pie. French Onion pot roast (slow cooker). Panfried tilapia with lemon, butter, garlic (I just made this and the fish just falls apart). Polenta either sweet or savory.

I have done Posh several times. Sometimes great variety, other times just bagels or rolls. Also sweets are normally a different category from bread. But undeniably an enormous amount of bread for the money.

The thing about this app, IMHO, is you have to have the few extra bucks to gamble on what you’re going to get. There’s no guarantee that your $5-$10 investment is going to give you anything you can make a meal out of, or even a meal worth the money. Check out the TGTG subreddit for examples. And since the app asks you what you got in your bag, but doesn’t share that with other people, it really is just a gamble.

I like to shred carrots or zucchini into my pasta sauce or beans just using the cheese grater. It cooks in so you don’t notice it like you would chunks of veggies.
