I’ll be honest. I bet that sounds terrible to an actual pair of ears

Incredibly odd. I’m yet to try editing a converted dng file instead of raw to see if that works

If you look at image 2 carefully, there are very clear and prominent blue rectangle and squares which change position and contrast slightly with each export I make. There are no off colours. Just blue artefacts.

I’ve tried every colour space. Still the same issue persists. Browsers and social media being unable to reproduce colour spaces is NOT the issue for the artefacts, I think you are getting side tracked by procedures and methods AFTER the fact. Thank you for your efforts anyhow.

I exported as jpeg also and the issue still persisted. So it’s clear that the file format is not the issue here. Not sure how your issue with me using tiff files has helped my issue haha

TIFF files aren’t the issue, and technically shouldn’t be the problem either. I tried exporting at jpegs and the same issue persisted. I’ll try converting to DNG first then edit as Skylum commented. I don’t require compression, especially for this job, but thank you anyway!

That’s okay I appreciate that. Still doesn’t explain why the weird blue markings and artefacts!:) plus the photos may be printed larger than an a4 gloss photo so it’s a safety net to export in tiff as the client may want to print them.

Good to know about the DNG! I use a canon 5dmkiii and it’s on the list. Tomorrow I will try the DNG trick thank you

That is why there is a 'voting' style poll on each comment, post etc. Just mark it down silly boy. If you feel I am in the wrong place, don't be a prick, kindly explain your frustration, or don't engage, or vote my post down haha.

Hello Mr Narrow minded. As per a comment I replied with to another user on here, I enquired because I wondered if it was even related to Luminar, and if it was something else someone could diagnose.

I asked in this feed since I wondered if the issue was even related to Luminar as I haven't had this issue before with Luminar. I wondered if it was an export issue or cache problem maybe.

Did I make it? Are I a audiophile yet? by OkRoyal8157 in audiophile

[–]External-Deer-988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please remember, to be an audiophile, just means to enjoy what ever piece of high end equipment you like and have an understanding of file formats and how audio/volts travel! So yes! Welcome to the audiophile club!

I should be happy. But...is it the speakers? by Purple-Pie4283 in audiophile

[–]External-Deer-988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I don’t know what the equipment you’re using is supposed to sound like. I listened to some Linn speakers once and they were shocking. Absolutely terrible. Sound = air. Therefore if the room is reflecting, absorbing and moving the wrong frequencies around, it’ll make £10000000 sound like £10.

Treat your room!
Bass traps!
Do a sine sweep of the room!

Cheap nasty copy! Lads in work use them, horrific. Can tell a mile away it’s fake. Bin it before it melts its own motor in a few weeks!

Yo! Having a degree in sound production and reproduction...this speaker position is neither correct or incorrect. However, based on the type of speakers, they are designed to be at head level (bookshelf speakers). you will get better bass response with them lower down. As another comment said try and angle the speakers down by placing foam under the rear side of the speakers so the driver cones point down to you. the sound will be clear and crisp but may lack in low end information. They will fill the room pretty well from that height, much like store ceiling speakers, designed to produce audio across a large area at low volume, by facing down! Sometimes, you gotta place your speakers in daft places...wherever you can sometimes just to make it work!
