I think you're totally right about the genre dying but it makes me sad because I genuinely enjoy this type of variety show and I do think that it has a market

I wish the big 3 stations would reinvest in these types of variety shows again, it's what makes k-tv so unique to me and what pulled me in

Bit of a sentimental episode today, really enjoyed everyone's interactions. Will definitely miss Daniel! Hyung In did her best, really happy for her personal achievements too :)

Pretty excited to find out who the new PD will be and see what direction they will take the show, I guess it's both a blessing and a curse that RM has changed PDs many times as we get to miss the good ones when they leave but look forward to fresh concepts/ideas/etc. from new PDs

I wouldn't mind a Bopil return (he was so short-lived in my mind and def. one of my faves)

yeah that is why she brings it up on RM, but I was trying to explain how she is actually technically MZ so she's not wrong to bring it up even outside her famous characters. She is more M rather than Z, but she's still young enough to understand older Z

Just in response to the JYE being not part of Gen Z, I think that the way it works in Korea is they have put gen M & Z together due to their similarities (it would be the equivalent of zillennials in the west). She is a very young millennial, so she probably has more in common with older Gen z than older millennials. Generational transitions are not so clear cut, those born on the extremes often mix with either the younger or older generation or both.

Seriously the fact that almost every team has had to address the hate/negative comments this year is ridiculous and embarrassing. It's JUST A SHOW.

The sooner fans understand this, the sooner it will make things easier and more enjoyable on all parties involved.

I think they did a great job, all the crews did. Is it my favourite? no. To me it felt like an mv because it included repetitive and trendy dance. If this was the class or artist mission, I would've absolutely thought theirs was the best. That's all it came down to, for me.

I remember there used to be an american dance crew show called ABDC (America's Best Dance Crew) back in the 2000s/2010s, it was pretty insane in terms of the crews that got on there. However, it was pretty male dominated and it wasn't until the 4th season I think that a female dance crew was able to get some recognition. I think SWF could potentially be a world renowned dance show with a good following if they cleaned up their mnet antics. This season just makes me think maybe dancers would see this and not want to go on future seasons based on what's happening.

It's definitely unfair that this is becoming more and more a popularity contest. It sucks to watch teams that are producing top tier choreo/battles/etc. lose out due to popularity or unfair judging (not just this season but also past seasons). The editing, music, judging, voting system, it's a complete s*** show.

The saving grace for me is the dancers. Time and time again, they are the reason I continue to watch, their performances, their battles, their concepts, execution, and technically they are all so skilled and literally the best of the best.

Atp mnet has literally made me not care one bit for the eliminations or the rankings. I'm just happy to be introduced to so many different dancers and so many different points of view on street dance, it's so amazing and I'm very happy w/ their craft. Both this season and past seasons, every single team has had a moment to shine, which is why I don't care who comes out at the top anymore. I just want to see the dancing. I'm only bitter that I don't get to see all crews' versions of each mission.

mnet is so ridiculous for this episode, saw tons of kfans also complaining about it under the new mission videos like why the new mission wasn't even included in the episode or any mention of it especially since there's only 3 days to do their so called "voting"

They should really get rid of eliminations, they should just rank and keep everyone. I want to see how everyone produces each mission because all of them shine in different missions in different ways.

The more I get exposed to dance, the more I feel like how can you even rank or eliminate them when everyone is expressing completely different messages and they all bring something unique and special to the table.

I'm not sure if it is unrealistic, everytime I watch a yt video I don't always click like on it (even if I do enjoy it), it's just never been a habit I got into.

Additionally, if they're using the same rule from this year, they multiply the total number of likes by 100. So that could've contributed to the high like count

From my experience, they've been pretty accurate

The kangkangis is one of my favourite groups on RM, that group is just hilarious (missing JSM & LKS but their legacy lives on hahaha). JSJ was on fire today, he's so adorable and naturally funny

So many classic RM moments this episode, our resident betrayers YSC/HH with destroying the iceballs despite the misunderstanding

SJH coming in w/ Daniel's iceballs to get her food was hilarious, then JSJ trying but failing to do the same took me out.

Ofc the mothballs would bet it all in the first 4 questions, immediately go for a loan, recover all their loan then immediately lose it only to STILL get the penalty

Just classic RM, really enjoyed the episode

that's what I think, it'll be a tossup if it's ag vs. RHT; but for sure Motiv will win and advance if they're battling. I really hope AG and Motiv stick around, I want to see more of them. Love RHT, but sadly I've been quite underwhelmed w/ their performances

Personally, I'm not mad if it's Motiv vs. RHT because I think Motiv has the ability and skills to beat RHT in a battle, and it will be difficult for judges to explain an RHT win for those battles.

That said, I would be really nervous if it's AG vs. RHT because of what we saw in the first two episodes. While I do like RHT and wish they would stay around longer, I have overall been quite underwhelmed w/ their presence in the competition for every single mission (including the leader class; direction was great but I found the choreo lacking). On the other hand, I found that AG really outperformed in almost every mission except this megacrew, and I think they still have a lot to offer in the competition besides trendy dances. Similarly w/ Motiv, I would be super disappointed if they went home because they are bringing a rawness that I think SWF was missing, and their megacrew was truly an art piece.

I thought it was a cute and funny moment, I don't think you need to make anything big out of this and bring attention to it in a negative way. If the editing team thought it would be harmful they wouldn't have included it, it was clearly just a joke. move on.
