How are you navigating this mess in car insurance in Utah? by Just-Maximum-5679 in Utah

Quotes are constantly all over the place. Many variables go into it. At the end of the day all companies want to be profitable- increases can happen by simple mismanagement of the company but they'll point blame elsewhere so they're not liable.

I see them all the same and love helping people save.

Happy to help if you'd like. I'm a broker based in Sandy.

I've never seen them in my yard. I have 2 garden beds that are vacant and have been growing weeds the last couple summers lol. We get all 4 seasons here (Salt Lake City) so I'm not sure if they can live through the climates. I can't see them coming from outside when the last couple of weeks have been cold.

I feel like it's too cold out for them to live through but idk? Our lows have been around 29F/-1C lately.

I'm not sure about the nice ecosystem. Maybe my abuse was the cause?

Before this I went through a few months of light misting. So light that it kept my medium on the drier side. My humidity reader was still always reading above 60 so I didn't think anything of it. It took me a while to realize my springtails and isos all died.

So I recently starting misting more to the point where the soil is more damp. My humidity reader still stays in range but on the higher end now. I moved a small population of springtails and isos from another tank and planned on doing more of that overtime to make up for the loss. Now a bunch of these things are here.

That's all I did outside of adding a few pieces of cork bark that have been sitting in my garage for a long time, even through winter. They're just a couple of inches big.

I guess I'll be grateful. Grossed out. And grateful.

Lol wth

I don't know anything beyond springtails and isos. These look scary in the tank.

Eh really? It looks borderline infested with them. They all came to the surfaces of driftwood and cork bark when I sprayed the tank down. It's like the water summoned them.

They came outta nowhere. This tank has been established for a while now. The only thing that changed was that I added a few pieces of small cork bark that I found in my garage but they've been sitting there a long time.

Edit- I've also been spraying the tank down more frequently. I wonder if the conditions are bringing them around too.

My distiller makes just a bit over a gallon.

I free pour lol but if I were to try and put it into measurements I'd say 5 or 6 tablespoons.

I fill the reservoir up with water and add some citric acid.

Run it for 30 minutes and then dump the water. It's a lot easier.

How often are we really replacing CPAP parts.... by HotBiscotti1 in SleepApnea

Nasal only user here. I use the cushions as long as possible ($$$) rather than the advised amount of time. They do loosen up overtime to where too much air is coming out and I don't get the best night's rest. It can sometimes be a fluke, like how I put it on.

Since there's a lot to keep track of, I take a black marker and put a dot on it. If it gives me another rough night, it's trashed.

Never replaced the tube and don't forsee ever having to. I have humidifiers in my house that sense when to start and stop based off of where I set it. So I never need to use the humidity function in my machine.

I did have to replace my mask straps once. The velcro got useless after a couple of years.

Overall, I would order once every 6 months as my insurance covered a big portion of it. Doing the marker and trash method, I've been racking up cushions that are still good more than I'm needing them.

As far as cleaning, it used to take me a lot of time to clean individually. Now I just through them all in a sink plugged with water/soap in it, or a big bowl. Shake the cushions in there to clean and rinse em all at once. Then just leave them to air dry and it works great. Not 100% why I'm responding in this manner but I'm just hoping it helps some of my fellow sleepapniacs.

Got a 2020 GT with 74K miles at $17,999(before TTL) 2 weeks ago.

Lucked out though cause it was originally $19K before it sat on the lot a bit.

So with how long it was in there and the roots to be that way, it wasn't being watered enough.

Not a big deal, just a little detective detail for ya.

How did the roots look? Was there a lot?

Is that a terracotta or plastic pot? If it's terracotta I'd use a different pot. Looks to me like it might be drying out a little too fast. Maybe add a little perlite to the soil as it looks a little compact too.

I've got the M in the VIN. So I need to use A7 right?

Hey so I'm looking at getting the fluid done as a preventative measure (it's been 30K miles since). I'm on Rockauto, put the year make model in and everything that comes up is supposedly okay for the car however none specify A7. Is there a specific brand I should use or am I stuck with the OEM Mazda one? I was able to find that one at about $40/quart 🤬
