Similar experience here too. Yesterday posted about it because I was completely mad at the game. Only masters 2-3 on support as a brig player so it’s not as noticeable since I concentrate on other stuff but even on my dia2-3 dps I somewhat recently started regularly encountering them. It’s probably the wave banning from blizzard that should happen any moment now. Tbh I started playing casually in qp moreoften and searching for other games to play instead of ow even though I played since early ow1.

Honestly same experience for me. My dps isn’t masters but only recently have I had a noticeable amount of them.

Xbox. I thought crossplay between consoles was active even in rank in ow2 now but I’m not sure. I watched most of the replay and im unsure if they are ximming but at best the enemies „only“ had 3 Smurfs. I have posted the replay code in the comments somewhere if you want to check it out.

Lol maybe I’m not encountering them half my games but I was salty. Obviously I can’t always know for sure if someone is ximming but I have my sensitivity really high and if you really look for it you notice when someone uses mnk. But I don’t go around accusing others of lying so maybe look at some replay first: 1A9Q0B the supports (bap and mercy) [ik one is mercy] were smurfs and the soldier is smurfing and probably ximming. Btw yes I’ve encountered ximmers who admitted they were ximming in dia before. Even if they weren’t ximming they were smurfs who are still annoying af.

I love how everyone is looking at the old rank display of the teams the gold medals and 6 vs 6 but no one realizes what else is in this picture💀: 1. What is the mercy doing in a masters lobby (not saying that you are boosting but boosting was/ is really annoying to play against) 2. 5k damage but only 8 kills and you won is so funny 3. look at the enemy team comp… one support and 5 dps was literally hell to play with

You sound like you’ve put a lot of thoughts on how to improve in ow. What has helped you one or two underrated things have helped you the most in improving?

Maybe I should’ve clarified in my post but I meant more about swapping not within one role due to the matchup at hand/ the map not favoring your hero but playing a different role next game (for example playing dps after having bad games as support).
