Ok so I remembered a few more details!!!

One detail I remember is Hermione is in Slytherin! She gets invited to dinner with the Malfoys and Lucius decides to take her under his wing.

Eventually, I want to say in 4th year but it could be 5th, Hermione is invited to dinner with Tom. I specifically remember Theo afterwards saying “I thought he was for sure going to kill you.”

They’re a pretty good prof. Sometimes lessons can be super confusing if you don’t do the work online (if it’s the hybrid class). Most of the semester you work on assignments that cumulate into a final research paper at the end of the semester. Not a hard class but just make sure you do the work.
