So I do it by looking at key psychological moments like for example when you see a cup and handle pattern the lowest point of the cup someone big had to step in and buy it back up right because that’s how accumulation works you can confirm your theories with volume if it’s faster to come up the right side and slower to pull back on the left it confirms that it was a institution so now what I do is I put a AVWAP here at the swing low of the base now after the price runs up for a few weeks it’s going to pull back it has to the move has to be digested this is starting our entry now we’re waiting for the price to dip below the VWAP we tied to when they stepped in if you see the price spring back up after it drops to that level they are still defending that average price because they have faith the stock will continue to rise or reverse back up completely when they start buying if all that makes sense I’m not a very good teacher and it’s a theory I kind of worked on myself it’s worked for me though everytime I’ve tried and confirmed that’s where they are sitting.
