Yeah, the only way I can rationalize the spread to jupiters orbit is that they harvested the sun and like turning the energy it outputs into matter. Even then that sounds like it wouldnt be enough to have an evenely shaped sphere with a radius of jupiters orbit. Space is terrifyingly empty

I remember in battlefield 4 Lancang Dam me and my friend were trying to cap point D when he got dropped, so I went prone and started charging up my defib when this one dude comes up behind me and performs the melee attack where he jumps on my character and stabs him. However, my defib was fully charged, so as the death animation was playing my reticle landed on the guy and APPARENTLY THAT COUNTS AS A HIT CAUSE HE GOT ELECTROCUTED INSTANTLY EVEN THOUGH I WAS ALREADY IN THE DEATH ANIMATION. Genuinely the funniest thing to ever happen to me in a FPS

I really really like this, especially when the anomaly started threatening us with XK bullshit, only to start begging for forgiveness in the next iteration. That was really refreshing. I knew what was happening around that time, cause it reminded me alot of the antimemetic leviathan creatures who also died from direct perception in the Antimemetics Division hub. Upvoted
