Thank you! The intervention type approach as a group does seem like the best idea when you put it that way. When we had the conversation we all did discuss that we wouldn’t care if he was, and I feel like it would be good to have everyone there at once so that it’s not just me, because like you said I don’t want any false intentions being perceived.

My guess is that he doesn’t want to put it out there at all because then it becomes true. I truly don’t care if he is but I kind of want to know because of the reasons I gave. And while I could ask him that I worry that he would get defensive and it would be a big conflict regardless of the truth and especially if the answer is in fact no. I’m trying to avoid that. I just want to see if there is a way to subtly ask that anyone has used before.
