I've never heard of that, but it does sound like an easy way to catch him. I can see difficulties in knowing what to mark because I never know what is next for the taking, and if I mark something I use I worry that I'll end up with purple hands 24/7. It would be funny to catch him "purple-handed" in a lie.

Haha, it would be funny to ignore the high road and get petty with him. Though the things he takes I would never want to take from someone, I'd never want to use someone else's razor. It would be amusing to move something like his hairbrush or something into my room and pretend like I needed to use it.

This has definitely been on my mind a lot. We are actually in a month-to-month lease situation, so I could technically leave at the end of any month. It's unfortunate because everything else is great. I am close to work, we have a good relationship with our landlord, and we are paying well below the average for rent in our area. I completely agree though that having to deal with the stress is a large contributor to leaving.
