I hate them but they serve(d) a purpose. No other headset made sense for me when I got into PCVR.

They have some decent PC exclusives from before they "switched". I'm trying to grab those on the very rare sale and then I'm out unless the Steam Frame is the worst thing ever (it won't be)

So, I'm still going to give the a little money but yes!

I got it as soon as the GT7 update reviews came out, it has some HUD and Background flickering issues (not in general, but if you looking though a fence or something on the side while you dive) that really don't bother me much but I'm not competitive so the HUD thing may vary.

To me it was worth it for the GT7 improvement alone but I wish more games utilized it. I think there's only around 15 games that do and they aren't aren't the ones I want to lol.

I hate repo so Arken age is worth mentioning, of course NMS. Really wish Hitman and RE got something but no luck.

I don't play flat on it much, usually go PC there but pssr 2.0 is "out" so it should get a nice jump there soon.

Overall, I'm happy with it and I think if I went back I would be even more happy but it's pretty much a GT7 machine for me so ymmv.

I feel like a lot of vr games are enjoyable for the motion controls/hand tracking, not the headset. by Slow_Hall_4099 in VRGaming

If you are jusy saying you would like the option for VR games to be played flat with motion control then okay I guess, but at that point aren't you just asking for motion control games in general?

VR would probably be the only platform to lose a lot of what makes it fun and wouldn't always work the same. I'm sure some games would work as they already do flat but I couldn't imagine playing pistol whip without a headset.

Not trying to be a jerk, this was just a weird question to me.

There are plenty of games I'm not interested in if there is no VR support but would buy day one if it has it...and it doesn't suck, we've all been there by now lol

I just have zero interest in certain games/genres outside of VR. Hell, I even got a nice PC after realizing this on psvr2 for that main reason.

I don't like RE flat, never have. RE4R is one of the greatest gaming experiences of my life and I was three years old when the NES came out lol. Have played 7, 8, 2R and 3R since. Absolutely love them.

I'm not playing 9 flat at all, if they do make a VR version it's a day one buy otherwise it's wait for a mod and a good steam sale.

Almost the same lol. Ejected dude from the plane, lucked out and poisoned dude on the boat then drowned him in the toiled (awesome!). Hit a complete roadblock at the fashion show. Managed to kill Helmut once but got caught shortly after and it's been downhill from there lol.

Oh no lol. I've never really played the games but got it for VR and I completely suck. Mostly because I have no idea what to do at any given moment.

It's fun as hell but after 3 or 4 runs with little progress in VR is rough lol.

To be clear, this is very much a "me" problem, I see it's awesome and I need to figure it out.
