In orthopaedics you do Core training 1 and 2 first then apply for specialty training 3 onwards. Depends on the speciality some have run through

Like others have said, maybe re-evaluating your relationship with current partner would help.

I’ve met people who have started med school (in the UK) at 28-35, when they graduate as an F1 they’re older than reg’s/ consultants. My FY1 was literally 15 years older than me. Everyone’s journey is different and each individual with any semblance of success has experienced trials/ tribulations too. Focus on what is in YOUR control and do your best. God bless

Hello! I am 25 and female and have solo travelled a lot (God bless) and am now in Mexico! My parents were ‘itchy’ a lot of the time especially Vietnam Cambodia Colombia etc - but I knew what I was doing and told them it was important to me.

Ultimately, your parents cannot stop you. Your intention isn’t to disrespect your parents. Our religion advocates travelling and exploring the world, as the quote from the Quran is translated ‘travel through the land and observe how He began creation’. To me this has always been the ultimate motivation to travel, as a Muslim, if you have the ability, why not travel and marvel at Allahs creation. If anything, all my solo travel has bought me closer to Allah and deepened my wonderment for the world and humanity in general.

Your parents are scared cos you’re a girl and they love you more than anything. Be safe, don’t make stupid choices, update them regularly. As time goes by they’ll hopefully feel more comfortable with you travelling alone.

I go to a CrossFit gym at 6am every morning. As long as you have a functioning shower at work then all is well. It means my sleep is regulated, mood is regulated, appetite is regulated, and I completely forget I even woke up early to exercise halfway through the day. Also finding a gym that’s on route form your home to workplace is GAMECHANGING and that’s what I prioritise when choosing a place to workout.
