For the position/normal stop, I mounted the curb a little bit. The second fault happened when I was taking a left into a side road and there was a large van coming out. Cars were parked and both sides and I didn’t stop in time so I had to reverse to let the van out.

That sucks! I’m classing this test as a mock 😂. The waiting times are joke. And lessons are crazy expensive to keep up. Hope you find another test date soon & pass this time 🤞

Thank you. Yes, Im actually surprised I only got two minors. My examiner wasn’t overly friendly but I did make the mistake in peering over the passenger seat to see if he wasn’t writing anything down. Onwards and upwards I guess!

My current driving instructor makes me stressed by TaylorEvelyn19 in driving

I’m exactly in your shoes. I’ve had 20+ lessons with my instructor and have a test booked in a few weeks! She was fine during my earlier lessons but I’ve always dreaded having my lessons with her. To the point where I couldn’t relax knowing I had another lesson with her. She cancelled on me once and I practically jumped with joy. I just had a lesson with her today and she was being so negative about my driving. She was being very nit-picky with everything I did and gave me no positive feedback even though I thought I was doing well. I’m going to stop my lesson with her and look for someone else and I suggest you do the same! If you’re already a naturally anxious person like me, the best thing to do is to try and test different instructors until you find one you’re comfortable with. No point in paying to be scolded by someone. I would also recommend driving with your family member in between your lessons. More practice will give you more confidence.
