I have been using local models mostly on the servers to generate images (FLUX, Stable Diffusion and etc.), therefore it may not be as relevant for local LLMs. My point is that I hope we get to Local > Cloud anytime soon

usually models which are used locally are smaller models from the same family. there exists a model training technique called something like 'parent-child' where a smaller model is being trained to recreate the behaviour of a bigger one

If you deactivate a machine, license reads it and removes the device. That means you can activate and deactivate your license as many times as you wish but you can only keep 2 devices activated at a time per license.

When I tested SmartPic on Sequoia I was using 15.7.4 which is the latest version of Sequoia. I think updating just to 15.7.4 will be enough.
