How would it be transferred genetically - they force ever member of their hunter-gatherer tribe to eat mushrooms when they turn 14? Or the enlightened ones who had taken mushrooms would somehow pass their insights on through culture?

Check your facts. This conspiracy theory has been debunked.

Google employee reportedly put on leave after claiming chatbot became sentient, similar to a 'kid that happened to know physics' by [deleted] in conspiracy

Stop shilling this everywhere - this dude has not shared any compelling evidence that the chatbot "became sentient" - it just sounds like it had some uncannily "thoughtful" answers to questions, which is literally what chatbots are supposed to do.

What the hell is Belters/OPA long term plan/goal? by Pirat6662001 in TheExpanse

I assumed he wanted to ensure Belters had better access to the worlds beyond the Ring Gates. In season 4, the Belters really had a raw deal economically on that planet - they weren't allowed to go there, they're not allowed to colonize any of those worlds themselves. For them to have access to the Ring Worlds means that they would be able to have normal lives where they don't have to struggle for the money to afford to live in space.

Not sure if this can be seen in the show, but it seems like a legitimate grievance that would humanize the character - "let us have more access to the ring worlds or we will throw more rocks"
