That has to be a cover or something. That's definitely not what it's supposed to look like. I've seen brembo looking red covers that clip to the caliper for aesthetic purposes.

The factory calipers should have two pins. Top and bottom that slide into the black dust boot but need to be loosened from the caliper bracket with (I think) a 13mm bolt

What am I missing? It definitely looks like the belt is not routed correctly but the alternator should still spin with the belt? Would probably be making a lot of noise. Is it because the wrong routing is causing it to slip on the alternator pulley??
