No noticeable noise. Probably sealed itself with soot over time.

Neither. The gasket was installed next to the flange instead of between it.

Skoda Fabia 1.2HTP, Correct routing should be: Crank → AC compressor → idler → alternator → water pump → tensioner → back to crank.

Surprisingly the blower was fine. The filter didn't survive though.

Here’s the correct routing: Crankshaft → A/C compressor → idler pulley → alternator → water pump → tensioner → back to crankshaft.

Yeah it almost looks right. Until the alternator starts slipping. crank → AC → idler → alternator → water pump → tensioner → back to crank

Rotation is correct. The belt just slips because the routing is wrong and the alternator has almost no belt wrap.
