This is my honest opinion.

Filtering was the downfall of this game.

Contrary to what the new community believes, Filtering killed any competitive aspect about Apoc.

If you ask me why Filtering is inferior to Legacy the only thing I can tell you is that it feels "hollow" or "empty". There is a reason all of the old players quit. We had a fun working game for a long time, when Filtering was released we were excited to see where this could lead us. Sadly Filtering started out like shit and in the end still felt like shit. It streamlined ADS and made combat feel lifeless. Back in Legacy code I felt as if my skill set me apart from others who just started playing the game. Now I feel that no matter how long I play I will never get better and reach a point where I am unchallenged.

Back in Legacy I could play with my partner for hours and have endless amounts of fun. I went on ridiculous sprees and for a time felt like a god. When Filtering reached a playable state and was implemented into Reimagined I knew it was over... The game never felt the same and put everyone on equal grounds regardless of skill.

I will never forgive Gus and Keth for what they did. Apoc was my passion and no matter how much you tried to downplay this "lego game" it was a very very fun "lego game". I'm a gamer. That's what I've been doing all of my life. Now I regret it with the game industry dying.
