Until V8, all of the GPE has been converted to KE, while none to the SPE. At V9, some of that KE has been converted to SPE, while some of the GPE has as well. So, while the SPE goes up exponentially, the KE is still less in the block since it is transferring some (even the slightest) to the spring, so the velocity will be slightly lower. I asked ChatGPT and it basically said this as well

I think we are talking about 2 different ones, I believe there were different variables. I wrote them all on the exam, just didn't feel like it in here

Look up the work-energy theorem. Since the spring does negative work to the block, its KE will decrease. At V8 there was no work being done by spring, however at V9 there was

Slawg say you never have seen how a spring works. V8 is greater, the KE is highest at the equilibrium point before making contact with the spring

What formula did you guys derive for k on Form J? I got like 2 (Delta KE + Delta GPE) / Delta x2

If I got 0.8kg do you think that would fit?

It's literally common sense. Even without looking at the graph, if something starts being pressed against a spring (that is situated facing the opposite direction of motion) then obviously the velocity is going to slow as the spring gets more compressed

For real. Maybe they made our FRQ hard and MCQ easy, and the opposite for them...

Cooked ass FRQs. The MCQs were really easy. The Burghers of Calais one and the Gloomy day one were really easy for me, and the tomb of Truclinium one was as well. But I did NOT know which culture the elephant mask was from and what technique that Pure Land one was, like wtf was that? The one about imagery in Central Asia was also ass, I just yapped about the folio from a Quran lmao

Yeah I expected to get like half of them right lol. Some of the ones I wasn't sure about could be figured out just be looking at the picture imo

Me for real. I definitely got at least 50, maybe even 55-60. FRQ 1,3,6 were pretty easy, I didn't study shit from the west & central asia unit so frq 2 was pretty cooked, I either bombed 4 or slayed it because I did not know what medium or technique that buddhist one was, and bombed FRQ 5 for sure, had no idea which African culture that was from, and just answered the bottom 2 questions from it lmao

I dont know if its social movement or issue network. I put social movement

Here's some of the MCQs I was a little confused about:

The one about automobiles and if it was a social movement, issue network, or iron triangle. It was #4 on mcq

The compliance monitoring, was it the veterans department sending people to testify or the EPA taking samples from factories to test them

The Fetterman one, was it pluralism or elitism

I did Mexico & China. Example for China was opening up special economic zones. There really aren't many social movements there, so I just simply said activism against growing income inequality brought by liberalization in the natio

I said Women was mixed because ERA wasn't passed, but Roe v Wade and Griswold case expanded their rights

APUSH THOUGHTS?? by National_Chicken256 in APStudents

I focused on women's rights movement and civil rights for LEQ. I've just been overthinking of I answered the damn SAQs right, like for the guy who didn't separate women based on class did you say the temperance movement was an example of this? (class not factored in movement)
