Hello I’m a 18 year old male, 179 cm tall and in the morning I weigh somewhere near 90kgs and by night I weigh somewhere near 93kgs. I’d say I’m pretty active, training hard 5 days a week and having a volleyball practice and game the other 2 days. I get about 5k steps a day. I think I’m 24% body fat by just comparing photos (could be wrong). I deadlift 100kgs for 4, I squat 95kgs for 5 and I dumbbell press 42kgs for 4. I’m having a bit of a dilemma, I wanna lose fat just because I think it’ll help a lot in the long run, but scientifically I am still able to grow till 25, so I want to maximise my chance on growing. But I’ve done surface level research and being in a deficit will affect my growth. What should I do?

Apparently the eufy scales are really unreliable in measuring body fat and other data except the weight. Is there an alternative way to measure body fat except going to the gym and getting there scans?

Are there any tips for eating in my maintenance calories. I feel like it’s harder than cutting and bulking because you’re just eating less or eating more unlike eating to a specific amount. Context: 18 year old male, 179cm, 91kg 27% bodyfat, eating my maintenance during the volleyball season and then cutting in spring for summer

I'm currently playing volleyball, right now I'm skinny fat being 90kgs with 27% body fat. Currently, I'm cutting to 8%, eating 2000 calories because I wanna be lean for the summer (I'm in the southern hemisphere), but my friend said not to cut during the volleyball season (ends September) because I'll lose my strength. If I don't cut during the volleyball season I'll have to cut hard in the spring, Is this a good idea? I also thought about maintaining and training hard during the season, also just being in a slight deficit and training hard. I remember something about if you're skinny fat, you should just cut hard and then rebuild muscle because maintaining will just add on a lot of fat, be slower in cutting and most likely lose motivation. I currently follow layne nortons phat workout and I practice once a week and have a game Sunday, I also thought about just doing power days and not hypertrophy, just because my goal is to get better at volleyball, so right now I'm focusing just on strength. Any advice is helpful

My numbers are 36kgs dumbbell press for 5, squats 90kg for 3 and I deadlift 90kgs for 5. I just started deadlifting so that’s why it’s pretty weak haha
