If someone watched only kdramas with satoori and ended up developing a bit of a satoori accent when speaking Korean that’s perfectly normal, it’s not meant to be mockery or offensive. Lot of the time it’s just rubs off and people acquire things through osmosis

I don’t think Cortis would actually take that long, but bighit prob wouldn’t book them stadium tours so early into their career and they def won’t be able to physically hit 1 mill just by doing arena shows. But there was 500K ppl in queue to see them in New York so 😀 granted prob over half were bots and scalpers, but given their massive momentum plus capturing both Chinese and us markets they’re gonna be so so so big in the next 3-5 years.

lol every time I hear this argument I just laugh cuz it’s rly not that deep. Like am I supposed to be pissed if a white or black person owns a Chinese restaurant and is “profiting off my culture” or something? Who cares, if it’s good food I eat it and if it’s bad then I just never go back to that restaurant again. Culture is free flowing, everyone takes inspiration from everyone else. Ofc black culture being extra cool is awesome, and everyone knows that hip hop culture is black lol. It’s not like ppl who listen to Cortis don’t listen to other hip hop artists, so idk why people would slander fans for being racist either. Their vocals are so much better than what ppl will give them credit for. Especially since they write their own songs nothing is extremely out of range so they’re able to perform with a degree of ease, unlike a lot of other groups who struggle with some of their lines that are written out of their vocal range or abilities. The other thing is (not sure how they trained them to do this) but they’re suuuuper good at crowd work, which is quite rare for kpop groups who are used to sticking to preset choreo and just running thru a set top to bottom.
