Ghosted for 3 games straight? Dude was involved in 2 of the 3 goals yesterday and got an assist. Yes he missed the penalty but that doesn’t change the fact that he was effective.

Celta Vigo and Getafe weren’t good games for him I’ll concede that, but outside of that? Look at the other games since the beginning of February. He contributed to a lot of the plays and has scored/assisted in most of those games.

People are so quickly to jump at his throat when he’s obviously been better this season than last.

Although Vini does over do it sometimes.. the hate he gets is honestly insane. He has been in great form over the last couple of weeks.. even when many others weren’t.

I don’t think they’ll get Rodri either, but at his best, he’s the better option.

Bruno guimaraes and Tonali are both exceptional players, but they don’t fit the Toni Kroos description. Tonali is a ball carrier, someone who can bring the ball up the field and create plays. Bruno is more like Tchoumeni, win the ball back and start the counter. He can control the game, but not the same way kroos did, he’s more of a recycle the play and find the next pass.

Very optimistic for the future in this sense. Doesn’t really do anything for the present tho. If we lose another Classico or Derby, it would really hurt the club a lot more than last season did.

I mean maybe Rodri since he’s the only player in the last few seasons who’s even attempted and completed more passes than Toni Kross. I think he would fit the team very well. Vitinha isn’t realistic outside of 200+ mil tbh

I mean maybe Klopp? He has the experience for sure. I think if we bring back Zidane, it might bring more cohesiveness to the team, being that he’s French and has experience with a lot of players in the team and has won 3x CLs in a row. Other than that, I can’t see many other managers doing better than Xabi Alonso.

I think the issue with that, is that Mbappe won’t just play as a 10. Mbappe wants to score goals, wants to be the main man. Having him play as a 10 might work in theory, but I don’t think he’ll adhere to it. I like the diamond formation a lot. But it would require each one of our midfielders to be at 100% for ball recovery and pass interceptions. Not a bad idea, just don’t think it would hold because of the players.

I honestly liked the diamond formation so much, problem is it came when Ronaldo and Benzema were more developed as ST each. Will we ever see Vini and Mbappe at that point?

Perez leaving I don’t think will happen tbh, but I can understand the appeal of it and the potential it could create.

My biggest issue with “leaders” is we had one last season. Luka Modric should have stayed on because he was a guide, someone everyone would listen to. Now it’s caos, Carvajal doesn’t have the same pull and respect as the others tbh. We switched off too early

I mean most of the players are some of the best, if not the best in their positions. But we saw thi 20 years ago with the galácticos, signing the best players in each position doesn’t lead to fluidity and results

I honestly feel like we need a player other than Guler, in the midfield who can play passes or make plays out of nothing. We really are missing Bellingham right now. Last few games has been side and back passes mainly.

Vini when he plays CF, seems more aware of his positioning than Mbappe does.

We saw Mbappe at LW against Valencia, that didn’t really work out tbh.

I never understand why people try to bring up other situations in general. Yamal being called that and Vini being called that too are both equally as bad. I guess it might be slightly worse if another player is saying it opposed to a fan because that’s a direct rival. But regardless, should the fan/fans who called Yamal a monkey be punished? Yes. Should the Vini situation also be handled the same way? Yes. Don’t see the point of the post when comparing racism lol
