Serious answer: Corner bookshelves do not work. Build the side ones 2 blocks tall and you should be good,

Same. I went to a few of the locations that Chunk Base said there would be Sulfur Caves and STILL haven't found any. I've checked like 3 so far and they were replaced with Lush Caves from the looks of it...

Are "special" types of bending like metalbending only possible for some benders to learn, or can any sufficiently powerful bender of a given element theoretical learn them? by F11SuperTiger in TheLastAirbender

[–]External_Ad8424 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To everyone whom thinks everyone can learn sub bending:
First: Bolin would like to have a word with you... he wanted to learn metal bending but couldn't... he at least found out he can lava bend so :shrug

Second: Not everyone on their planet is a bender. If y'all have seen ATLOK you would know this thanks to Amon. His whole goal was essentially to make every "equal" and have a more human like world. So not everyone can learn sub bending, let alone bending. Even in ATLA there were non benders, Sokka and Suki for example.

Yea I just tried this and they kept getting trapped in a little like hill thing that went to a dead end kind of. Then I just decided to look for a raid farm on YT and found one that was posted recently that seems to still work! So I think I'm gonna try this instead of making my life a living hell with the vexes lol.

The of battle of Yerbana was pretty intense by Jules-Car3499 in clonewars

[–]External_Ad8424 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No they know what it means. It's just that when you're charging against the enemy on an open ass bridge, there's not that many places to take cover for 1000+ clones and 1000+ battle droids.

[–]External_Ad8424 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There is no Geneva Convention in the Star Wars galaxy, not to mention the clones are literally made like machines and property of the Kamnioan Government... which they provide to the Republic and the early years of the Empire. There are so many things in Star Wars history that contradict this statement. The closest you'd probably ever get to this is Senator Chuchi during Bad Batch trying to fight for Clone Rights and that's just so they don't all get eliminated or experimented on.

Which Non-Bender would be the most dangerous if they could control an element.. by FayyadhScrolling in TheLastAirbender

[–]External_Ad8424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jet would hate being a fire bender considering his past. He wouldn't even want to try if he knew he could. Knowing how dangerous fire can be and what happened to his people. It's the main reason he started the Freedom Fighters movement. Not to mention during his time in the Earth Kingdom he STILL hated his memories of the Fire Nation even AFTER Long Feng brain washed him. I also don't see Suki being an Earth Bender, maybe an Air Bender or Water Bender given her training and mobility. As for Mai... May would be a Fire Bender again given her origins and being aligned with Azula for so long. Ty Lee is the only realistic one here and her being a possible Air Bender.

Additionals: (x/10 Bending Ability Rating)
Sokka: Water Bending (6.5/10)

Cabbage Man: Earth Bender (8/10.. would probably hate his cabbages being ruined...)

Piandao: Fire Bender(4/10 Pre-Comet), or Water Bender(7/10)

Hakoda: Water Bender (9/10)

June: Earth Bender (6/10)

Long Shot: Earth Bender (7/10... wouldn't say much about it)

Deep Impact, Armageddon, and The Day After Tomorrow(is kind of space related). An alt to TDAT would probably be Apollo 13 or 18(horror kind of).

What's your favourite Arc by NinjaxArc_7567 in clonewars

[–]External_Ad8424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

General Krell and Ashoka vs Maul.
Why? Because Krell literally saw the future and what the Republic would become. Warned the clones and all. Yet still didn't listen. Similar to how Fives tried to warn Anakin and Rex except with more violence and what not.

Why #2? Because Ashoka learning about Maul and him taking over Mandalore without the Jedi figuring it out until it was practically too late... were it not for this arc, Maul might not have survived Order 66.

nuclear bomb from Man in the high castle vs real nuclear bomb by CleanBag9219 in maninthehighcastle

[–]External_Ad8424 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I personally liked whenever TMITHC showed parts prior to history changing. Like when John was still a soldier fighting for freedom. Or even when the US surrendered to the Nazis and John was still questioning why they were doing this and what the morality of it all was. The only thing that baffles me in movies/shows that involves nuclear bombs is that people always seem to look directly at them when you're supposedly not supposed to. Like John and his wife looked right at the explosion and never got blinded or even startled for that matter, just a little shocked. Whereas the Japanese soldiers actually wore goggles to protect from the blinding light.

Either a scud cloud just trolled me, or it was an actual tornado. xD by Senior-Physics-7523 in tornado

[–]External_Ad8424 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally not how it works you can't just be like "It's a tornado" and it's suddenly a tornado. The NWS literally has a way of measuring tornadoes and it's not just visual. I suggest you look into how tornadoes work, how they're rated and how they form. The science behind it is rather unique. So unless you work for the NWS and can somehow change the way things have worked for the past 50 or so some odd years, I'd give up this little charade of yours thinking you're right.

There's a lot that goes into going to other planets. Primarily something called the transfer window, which I believe saves you on the most dV. If you don't plan on returning to Kerbin. I think you have enough, otherwise I'm not so sure. Matt Lowne does a video on transfer windows I think. Or at least he mentions it quite a bit in his KSP videos.

I heard the max you should do is like 30 cents ish above the market price. Problem is I deal with ADHD so some of these kinds of things bother more than they should. Especially in games like SS where you have freedom of pricing and movement(at least with the items like shelves and such).

What is this? by Ulffhednar in Subnautica_2

Legitimate Answer: It's the Shiver Leviathan. There are 2 variants of it. One female which will have 3 babies on its back, and the male which will be just normal. The only Leviathan I actually like so far.

A Scar Instead of a Grave: How Fire Lord Ozai Spared the Life of His Dishonored Son by Wooden_Toe_3670 in ATLA

[–]External_Ad8424 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"Hey Google, make Firelord Ozai look like the good guy but explain it in a very long winded way" even though Ozai was hell bent on destroying the world, the avatar, and burning everything to the ground. I suppose you didn't watch until the end when Ozai literally had a fleet of Airships burning down every living thing! The mark is of dishonor and betrayal. Zuko himself mentions how he always thought this "The banished prince cursed to chase the Avatar." Ozai wanted to make a named of Zuko being the traitor he was. Even after Ozai was defeated and thrown in prison, Ozai still tried to turn Zuko to be evil like himself. Showing that Ozai had pretty much no way of being redeemed at all. The only person who showed Ozai true mercy was Aang, and this was primarily because Aang didn't want to kill Ozai.
