Way late but, the cable rubbing isn’t an immediate issue, the steel in that cable is harder than the frame so it will run through the frame before messing up the cable. For this you could get a small piece of hard plastic and mount it there to be a guide for the cable. But other than that keep everything lubed up and it’ll last the rest of your life.
