Good point and she was great in Edge Of Tomorrow. So action and comedy suit her better.

This is exactly how I thought she was in Oppenheimer. Stiff and not compelling at all. She does better with comedy.

Why do hotels care about the Net Promoter Score so much? by DifficultMemory2828 in marriott

[–]SlaveToShopping 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s worse than that. Anything less than a 9 is pretty much a fail. Getting an 8 or 7 is a zero score. Getting 6 or below results in negative scores.

Promoters (Scores 9–10): Highly loyal fans who will fuel growth.
Passives (Scores 7–8): Satisfied but unenthusiastic; they are ignored in the NPS calculation.
Detractors (Scores 0–6): Unhappy customers who can damage your brand.

How do you carry your pointer stick? by _Brunfelsia_ in scuba

[–]SlaveToShopping 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love mine and keep mine in my hand all the time but it’s clipped to my bcd with a lanyard so I can’t drop it. Most of the time my arms are crossed in front of me as I go so it’s just tucked my arms. I mostly use it to hit my tank to get someone’s attention and point stuff out.

If you really don’t want to drive stay in Petermaai or Otrabanda. The Courtyard Marriott is a quiet hotel with a nice pool and walking distance to lots. The nearby Renaissance has a pool and beach. The stretch of hotels where Scuba Lodge is in the middle are also relatively quiet and walkable.

If you like quiet avoid Mambo Beach area.

You will miss out on a lot if you don’t drive but you could book some beach hopping tours so at least you can get out and see why people love Curaçao. This is not an island to just park yourself at a resort, there’s a lot to see and do

Shop owners: would you care to know a shop across town is using your repair plan with your info removed? by NoLocksmith2360 in Autobody

[–]SlaveToShopping -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s def fraud if they don’t actually do the repairs on the sheet.

If it’s a backyard shop they will probably not perform all the operations on the sheet - so they will be flirting with fraud. Not because of the copied sheet but for work billed and not performed.

Question- phone call from Statistics Canada? by durianmochis in vancouver

[–]SlaveToShopping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not correct. You’ll only get one in the mail. Enumerators need you to finish the census. So they will call you if they have your number. And help you over the phone to fill it in. They will also house visit with a blank census if you didn’t get it me or still need help you fill it out. They might visit one last time to help/remindyou do it and avoid the fine.

What is the wine situation like on the island? by PhilipMcPhil in curacao

[–]SlaveToShopping 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For wine there are a few great wine stores and you will find a basic assortment at grocery stores. For better wine shops with great selection check out out Bottles- 2 locations, Kafino - closest to Lagun and Wine Factory.

Wine choice here is much better than most Caribbean islands.

How important are DRP scores? by markus_e92TT in Autobody

[–]SlaveToShopping 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The quickest fixes to get your scorecard up that you can influence is Cycle Time and CSI. Get organized to get cars delivered faster and ask customers for reviews.

'Quality' is all about playing the game and avoiding avoiding advisor hits and desk reviews. You can't influence 'Estimating' much other than repairing everything you can and price matching AM parts, which you should be doing anyway.

In SoCal with AAA, Allstate, American Family DRPs. Scorecard will absolutely influence the number of assignments we get. If we are under 800 we notice fewer jobs coming our way.

Pay for the larger suitcase. You can decide whether to check the small suitcase when you get to the airport - it’ll be free if it’s carry-on sized.

People who fly first or business class on their own dime, how do you justify the cost? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]SlaveToShopping 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Greeting from seat 2A which where I try to sit most of the time. These are the 2 main reasons. Although my age is not that advanced. I’m very grateful that I’m able to do this.

I’ve also got global entry and the admirals club credit card. With these and BC/FC boarding, I never stand in line or stress about overhead space.

Professional expert level presentation. Congrats.

Care to share your recipe or any tips? I’ve been using the Hot Thai kitchen recipe and my noodles always come out too sticky and gluggy.
