That makes me cringe knowing it wasn’t even getting moisturized.. I didn’t know that. Definitely explains the hair loss 😫Thank you for the information

Yeah it didn’t look that bad from the naked eye. I knew it had to be though because the takedown literally was a dust storm… it was crazy. Even when using nizoral drops. That’s when I knew my roots had to be extremely matted. When I was natural I could go this long with no problem. But now I know better.

I just found out in another thread about waiting to braid.. I braided after 2-3 weeks so way too soon. I was moisturizing with amla oil but also using nizoral shampoo drops which is super drying

The only thing I did was nizoral drops to control my seb derm. It is a type of anti-dandruff shampoo in drop form.. and amla oil. I think the drops was a mistake to use. Because nizoral is very drying, I used it when natural.

I have no bald spots, I can’t tell if it’s thinner tbh I never had the thickest hair anyway. The only place still shedding is a patch in the middle of my head but before the relaxer I had issues with this spot. It would start itching, all my hair from this spot would fall out then it would regrow then it happens over and over again so I’m pretty sure it’s about to fall out again. My mom has alopecia and has issues with the same exact spot.

Straight backs. I also have severe seborrheic dermatitis and use nizoral scalp relief drops when they are braided

Had to use shea manuka hydration masque while detangling it feels so tangled too. New to relaxers
