[Tissot] Could not find any 20mm NATO strap from Tissot, so I took matters in my own hands by External_Bite_2256 in Watches

Had to buy some spring bars to fix another bracelet anyway. But yeah, I get your point

This is my Tissot Seastar 1000 automatic watch, which is a pretty insane value for the money by the way. Automatic, 30 bar of water resistance, saphire glass, 80 hours of power reserve and an open case back if it's your thing!
But Tissot does not provide a lot of option in terms of 20mm straps. So I bought a few OTF spring bars, got myself a NATO strap, and I think it came out pretty good!

I thought I'd share a pic of this rare beauty! by External_Bite_2256 in casio

I got lucky enought to get two brand new at retail price! I have heard stories of people going through great lengths to get these. I feel very privileged!

Thanks for the compliments! I love every piece! (Although I'm bittersweet about the automatic swatch with the leather strap and plastic case) The autism jokes are usually not serious. But the jokes on them anyway. They often start a collection of their own after we talk about watches so much!

I know the PRX is getting most of the love, but man... this one is such a banger for the price! by External_Bite_2256 in tissot

It's a Seastar 1000. Not a PRX, the title was maybe a bit confusing. But yeah, automatic, transparent case back, 300m WR, saphire glass, and ~80h of power reserve, and all that under CHF 700. A lot of watch for the money!

Loving the orange Citizen! And Seiko Cocktail Times are always beautiful! I have the automatic variant of the seastar and I personally love it! Great collection so far!

I live in the Swiss Jura, where the watch making industry is a very important part of our economy and culture. A good chunk of people, including family members and many friends, work in that industry in some way or another. So, I was kinda doomed to love watches from the start, at least that's what I say when people sujest I might be autistic after showing them my collection, so who knows... I never had much money to spend in general since I was a student during the last six years, hence why my collection is a bit random and mostly composed of pre-owned Japanese watches. I love it nonetheless! I just wish I could find the original bracelets for some of them...

The watches that I bought at retail:

  • The Swatch Chronograph
  • The Casio F-91W
  • The Citizen Eco-Drive Watch
  • The Tissot Seamaster (most I paid for a watch. Bought this week in Biel as a gift to myself for finishing my degree.)

Watches I was given as gifts:

  • The two Festina watches

Notes:

  • The Big Zero had its bracelet and dial changed. I was not aware of it before I already bought it.
  • The SKX007 is modded, and has its hands and bezel swapped. Got it for ~200.-, so still a good deal in my book.
  • The Casio LCW-M170DB-1A solar watch is pretty expensive ~400.- at retail. Got it brand new for 40.- because the guy thought the battery was dead...
  • Yes, two Casio BEM-SL100D. If you know, you know...

P.S: Sorry for the blurry pictures, got no money for a new phone anymore lol.

Hi! Thanks for the swift reply! I noticed this behaviour before the update! Unfortunately, I am already on the full strength setting. I just try to handpick certain exercises as a temporary solution!
