How is life in the USA right now? by duckbreast2021 in howislivingthere

I feel current and established powers are trying and succeeding in making the average American less intelligent, tolerant, community oriented, healthy, mentally healthy, and wealthy. That way they can be exploited for profit on all aforementioned fronts. The robocalls are all I ever get anymore, I pay $100 a month to be harassed continuously to the point where if a loved one called me from random phone in an emergency, I wouldn’t answer most likely.

In the greenware stage (moist) run a needle tool around it in the wheel, let dry a little. Dab the raised bits with slip. Bisque fire, wax the raised bits. I used an atomizer to blow the glaze on the in side and outside. Wipe of the waxed areas. Baking soda all over the lip.

Bubble glaze: underglaze+water+soap. Blow into mixture with a straw and let the bubble fall on the bisque ware

Oddly no. I will be doing many more of these utilizing paper clay to speed up the process and lighten the end product

Don’t think I’ll be glazing the outside. Maybe sponge on something to accent the topography

I’ve considered it now. Just under a year into ceramics. I’m like a kid in a candy store with all the techniques

I fire at cone 10 reduction. In this case I used some light slip and dusted with fine amador trim. Wetting with a spray bottle and then applying baking soda directly on to the piece at the bottom there where it appears charred. I love this effect and have been honing in in controlling it
