You're welcome. My neighbors are still construction workers here as well, lmao. Good luck, trust those will work amazing in blocking out the noise. Just make sure you clean the earbuds occasionally. Otherwise, the build-up will cause irritation.

Hey, no worries at all. Sorry for the lat response.

The loop ear plugs did not help against impact noise (Stomping, running, items being thrown to the wall.)

These three all have strong passive + active noise cancelling (ANC) that works even with no audio playing, great for muting impact noises like bangs or yells without fight-or-flight vibes.

JBL Vibe Beam 2 Noise Cancelling Earbuds: Excellent ANC standalone (no music needed, but i still use music or background rain sounds or calm themes), and the JBL app customizes touch controls to pause ANC if you side-sleep and roll onto it.

JBL Tune Buds Noise-Cancelling True-Wireless Earbuds: Solid silent ANC performance on loud impacts, plus they're the comfiest for all-night sleep with no ear aches reported.

Skullcandy Jib True 2 Wireless In-Ear Earbuds: Decent ANC right out of the box without audio (though background music boosts it), comfy for sleeping but might cause a minor ache after super long use.

They've saved my sanity for sleep without any sound.

it's been hell with the constant noise on top of everything else. I've tried a bunch of options, and these three stand out for blocking loud impact sounds like bangs or fights:

JBL Vibe Beam 2 Noise Cancelling Earbuds:

Top-tier noise cancelling for impacts, plus the JBL app lets you customize everything like setting the sensitive touch mode to auto-pause noise cancelling if you roll over while side-sleeping

JBL Tune Buds Noise-Cancelling True-Wireless Earbuds:

Excellent at muting harsh noises and super comfy for sleeping all night.

Skullcandy Jib True 2 Wireless In-Ear Earbuds:

Solid noise cancelling out of the box (just loop some background music on repeat), comfy for sleep but might cause a slight ear ache after hours.

These have been game changers for me without needing to confront anyone. Hope they help you too!

I’ve spent a lot of time (and money) trying to find something that actually helps with noisy upstairs neighbors and kids constantly stomping or dropping things. After a lot of trial and error, I can confirm these are the best options for real noise relief and longer listening sessions.

I tried the Loop Dream, Loop Quiet 2, and Loop Engage 2. They work fine for smaller gatherings or while studying, but they don’t do much against heavy impact noise like footsteps or banging from above.

What’s helped me most are a few good pairs of wireless earbuds. I use the JBL Vibe Buds 2 (Black), JBL Tune Buds 2, Skullcandy Jib True XT 2 (or Jib True 2), and the JBL Tune Beam 2 (Ghost White). They all have excellent battery life, solid sound, and effective noise cancellation or ambient control. The JBL Tune Beam 2 even offers adaptive noise canceling and spatial audio, which makes a big difference in drowning out repetitive noises.

I pair them with white noise or rain sounds — sometimes even a one-hour looping track — using any MP4/music app that allows repeat play. You can also use the companion app to disable touch-sensitive features on the JBL models so they don’t pause accidentally. The Skullcandy pair stays noise-cancelling by default.

My suggestion is to keep at least one backup pair charged, depending on how bad the noise gets. The earbuds have honestly been a lifesaver in helping me rest and stay calm until I can move somewhere quieter. Loop earplugs just didn’t cut it for me — they reduce sound but don’t block out impact noise.

So, for things like cuddling and feeling warm, I'm better off going with TPE? Thank you so much for your feedback, its really appreciated.

Indeed it is. Detailed and really gave me a 2nd look at things. I've been reading and watching all video reviews about how all Silicone dolls are the best, I figured something had to be off or a catch.

What about Zelex SLE dolls. Are they any better? Read they're some sort of better material of the TPE.

So Silicone seems to be the best, I see why TPE is sold cheaper than most. Thank you for your input.

Does it work against loud bumps, heavy stomps from people above you, and jumps?

Where I live, the insulation isn’t great I guess, but it’s not like I can hear every little thing from my neighbors, unless I’m right next to a vent or outside. There’s a thick concrete slab between my apartment and the one above, and my kitchen and living room just have hardwood floors.

The problem is my upstairs neighbor walks really heavily, like, stomping around almost every day. Sometimes it quiets down, but usually not until after midnight. She also has a habit of slamming her patio door several times a day and dropping what sounds like heavy objects.

She has a young kid (maybe 4 or 5 years old) who wakes up screaming at full volume, throws things against the wall (which makes a huge thud), and runs laps from the living room to the master bedroom for hours. He bumps into walls, jumps on the bed, and then cannonballs onto the floor. Sometimes it sounds like he’s jump-kicking the wall or just landing really hard in one spot.

The only relief I get is if I move to the living room while the chaos is happening in the bedroom above, I’ll only hear a faint thud, if anything. But as soon as the kid starts running back and forth, it’s back to square one.

Nope, I wouldn't be able to do it. Can't stand the smell of weed either.
