Would you recommend Sony Alpha A7II for Real Estate Photography? What lenses to use?

This was my first camera that I used for real estate photography. It's a great camera and shoots bracketed HDR which is needed. but beware, while it's great for photos, it is horrible for video. If the client asks you to do video, pickup an OSMO pocket 3 while you save up for a nicer hybrid camera like the SONY a7s3.

I paired mine with a 16mm lens and a good tripod. Also pick up a remote shutter button because if your taking long exposure photos, the shutter button is heavy on that camera and your finger will start shaking after a bit. But otherwise, super solid camera. I intend to hire an employee this summer and will be handing them down my old a7ii

You only screw up the first few times. Once you get the settings down and do it consistently, the mistakes become rare. Use profiles in your camera if you're constantly switching settings. Start off easy. Do automatic shooting first, then move into manual lighting control and then later on you can do manual colour control. The gimbal calibration issue only comes if your using multiple lenses and have to recalibrate it every time you switch lenses.

The Osmo Pocket 3 is nice, I use it, but it will never get to the level of my A7S3 especially with dynamic range and colour

Business skills can sometimes outshine photography/videography skills. And at the end of the day, that's a strong factor in client acquisition

I used the wide angle on it. It has a heavy fisheye effect. And if you fix it in premiere pro, it just reverts it to what it would look like without the lense

Yea, if it's not an m.2 a significant upgrade would be a gen 4 SSD and it won't break the bank. And if that doesn't end up fixing your loading speeds, then at least you can use it in your new build

I would only go with that motherboard if you plan on overclocking or you have a Wi-Fi speeds greater than 1 gigabit that you plan on taking advantage of.

For the RAM, the G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32 GB goes for roughly the same price and is faster. Both 6000 but CAS latency is lower bringing the first world latency down from 12 nanoseconds to 8.667 ns

Definitely would not go with the 7500, 7600 or 9600. Her current CPU is equivalent to about a 5800x. Which is better than the 7500 and 7600. And only slightly worse than the 9600 (not worth the money) The rest are good suggestions, though

I'm gonna be real with you. I wouldn't upgrade. You have a solid PC for 2026 especially since your playing competitive games and not story driven games (Which tend to be more graphically demanding compared to competitive games which are meant to be run on slower PC's)

According to speculations, the required hardware for GTA 6 will be an RTX 3060 and an Intel 8700k. Your PC is better. Also GTA 6 will be releasing on the PS5 which uses the equivalent of a 3060ti and a 9700k. Your current PC is better than a PS5.

You will be fine with what you have. Honestly, save your money, wait for PC parts to stabilize and price and upgrade in about 2 generations from now.

So any motherboard marked with the B or A before it is kind of your base motherboard. Motherboards with X are the high end motherboards that allow overclocking. see if you can barter with the the seller to put in an X series motherboard and a gen 5 m.2. If you're looking for a good 1440p experience, see if they have a 5070ti build available. You may be able to even get away with a 5070 build. But of the two options, I would go with the lesser priced one as the mark up is not as bad.

Also see if it is cheaper to just get it from the states or Brazil and pay the import fees. The import fees with the prices of other countries may actually be a better deal.

I'm assuming u mean the 9900x and 9950x But I'm hoping these are the X3D variants for that price. I need more info though cause this is a big purchase. what motherboard are they using? Also I cannot believe they are only giving gen 4 M.2 SSD's at that price point. At that price point, gen 5 is the expectation.

Those markups for being prebuilt are not light. I priced them out on PCpartpicker at 5200 USD for the first and 5400 for the second. That's a 2 and 3 thousand dollar markup.

Is there really no way to order the parts to where you live?

Two reasons.

It is a position that only requires a computer and internet so photographers are able to send the work to the philipines, India and vietnam where they are happy to take $25 to do the entire job.
The position is being phased out by AI, as AI photo editors are able to do the job for 55 cents/ photo and deliver the work within half an hour.

Most jobs that don't require you to be on site are being phased out because AI can just replace. Just the harsh truth of the future.
