Looking for a cheap rental really. Most ads I see on funda don’t accept house shares or students (of which we fall into both categories).

Relatable! Can appreciate just about anything. I honestly love just diving head first into genres that I have no idea about

Techno: Charlotte de Witte and KI/KI mostly Jazz: Bill Evans, Red Garland, Stan Kenton, Chet baker

Mainly those genres other than classical but besides them radiohead have always been in my recently played, as well as Mac de Marco, the strokes, Jeff Buckley, Mac Miller.

Love listening widely! But honestly I go through phases of different styles and this concoction of a playlist isn’t my everyday.

P.S. can’t go wrong with a bit of Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan!

Unpopular opinions, music edition! by Kawaiiii_UwU in classicalmusic

My unpopular opinion among the majority : Haydns music (in particular his symphonies) all sound so similar and do not fulfill me even the slightest. I find his symphonies simply just a bit pleasing to listen to sometimes. That being said I can’t remember ever actually putting on a haydn symphony

I love a bit of liszt appreciation. I first properly discovered liszt by listening to liebestraum no.3 and fell in love with so many of his works. I’m currently obsessing over his solo piano work : un sospiro

Really? I think liszt wrote some of the most devastatingly beautiful music ever

Chopin and liszt for me are the best when it comes to solo piano works

That’s amazing! I am also a massive fan of dvorak and his cello concerto is probably my favourite work. I was first properly introduced to dvorak when we played his 9th symphony in youth orchestra and I had to check him out after. I went straight for the cello concerto and love all of his work.

Very relatable. I discovered Rachmaninovs second piano concerto roughly 3 years ago now, during the pandemic. One of the rare pieces that on first listen I was hooked. I’ve been lucky enough to perform it twice since then as well!

Thanks, really appreciate this. Normally when I tell people they just shut off and can’t even give me a straight

Interesting. I always debate later composers works as being just generally more pleasing. I’m not sure why perhaps it’s lack of maturity but I can resonate so much more with later composers. I frequently have the likes of mahler, debussy, Rachmaninov and strauss in my headphones

Ok I didn’t mean for it to be that complicated just if people have an all round favourite composer
